Red Dog isn't too off the track about Willie. He hasn't trained me, per se, I'm pretty precise anyway but the man, ah, "pays attention to detail". You should see him balance his checkbook - to the penny! He and I had some heated arguments about things like punctuation when working on his book. It was pretty funny - as he is wont to say "I'm always right, 99% of the time". He is not, but he's close. God love him; me too. Yes, the bathroom is clean, BTW. I don't think Capn has quite sobered up from last night yet. Take a nap, boy!

Sister Lizzie, thank you so much for you post about the benefit. Willie has you trained. That is a joke about Willie. Hoping that Brent will show for the Jam.

Hey y'all! Utica show was thrilling and exciting for everybody, band included, special show first time band played together since 12/12/2009. Very emotional and exciting at the same time. After our brief separation of six months as friends made us realize how important we are all to each other...and to everyone we love. Dickey is happy and was smiling and digging it all. Everyone told him how much we missed him and it fueled him up with love and he gave us a blistering hot show...thunderstorms moved in, the the crowd leaned on in and I felt this power from the people that musicians must pick up, the kind of power that each feeds on. Hotel Utica will never be the same as we all took it all in and treasured our company... We're all sleepin in tonite and snuggling in and getting rest to enjoy tomorrow nite! The band is going to give y'all everything they have in their hearts. I love them all even more, if it is possible. Alot of great friends will be in the house and family from the band is coming into Town. Oh yeah, a close friend of mine, Carolyn has a ticket in the orchestra 5th row "E" on the left available $70.00 face value...anyone would like it pm me and I will meet you at the door... Dickey in the house! Yehaa! Love, Kimberly

A beautiful "Blue Sky"day in NY with no humidity! "With the help of God and true friends … I come to realize I still had two strong legs … and even wings to fly" and hopefully enough funds for a bus/L.I.R.R. ticket and ticket for tommorrow nite's show... cause "I Ain't Doin Time No More! I've been out of work since the beginning of July after injuring my toe and left leg... I wanted to show up tommorrow with a T-shirt I've been wanting to create for DB and his guest book fans... I saw Dickey play at B.B. Kings several years ago and Dickey signed the sheet music to "Blue Sky" my #1 favorite song of all time for many reasons... #2 "Buffalo River Home" by John Hiatt! my theme song after 15 years of "Ramblin around the country! I was hoping to silk screen the sheet music with Dickey's signature and create a t-shirt for this very special run of shows... I also found a custom air brush store that could copy Dickey's signature and sheet music for around $20 per shirt... Perhaps when I have some extra cash flow..I'll create the t-shirt then... I'll barely have enough cash to get into the city and afford a ticket... So send out some "On the Road Again" vibes so I can make Friday's show! Hope to see y'all there in NYC Friday and in Conneticut and Syracuse... Peace and Blueskies Forever
