ROCK ON RED DOG ROCK ON BRO
you are in my prayers brother
like wise big dave on base,
me, U and luke will have to get those harleys
rolling down highway 41 real soon... maybe at
GABBA... hint hint 🙂
Yes it does 22.High note to hear the spirits came thru for ya bro. They were runnin everywhere thru Macon over the weekend.Although you could feel quite a few had a tear in their eye thru the smiles at the same time.Memories & trails of past were sittin, standin & rollin in every knook & cranny.RedDog made the circle come full with that smile of his & twinkle in his eyes.Brother you are one kind hearted soul my friend. To see not only the love that was shared & given to you.But the love & kindness you share with so many from your heart & travels is what brings it all around.I don't ramble & post round here much these daze it seems.Reckon it's just the times we're in i don't know.Seems like you can feel Mother Earth squirmming with a restless feeling these days. And the spirits are on high alert guarding the sacred grounds across the planet.I do know the Brotherhood is alive.Maybe a few have strayed & lost track of the root trail. The midnight walks these days are clouded with wolves in sheeps clothing. And have led a few thru the forest that looks & feels like the enchanted one,BUT IS AN IMPOSTER.But at the same time the blessing is that there are forks all along that lead back to the mountain top.As Dublin & i were leavin the boneyard the other morning and starting down the hill,we heard a voice holler & looked back.It was brer Kim.After we talked for a few minutes he said he was gonna go talk with his brothers. As he was driving into The Rose we heard an OLD line of Dreams echoing from his truck as he entered the spirit ground.
Hold on to them reins tight RedDog.I'm sure the rides gonna get rough brother. At the same time theres a lotta good medicine & Prayers bein sent up for ya my friend.None of us know what tommorrow may bring. And i think thats what HOPE is all about.
To all that made this gig happen.A stand up salute and thank you for your love for a brother.
AUGUST 14,th
:dog:National Red Dog Campbell Day:dog: & a key to the city!
man if that ain't the end all be all gig of the century.Looks like all that love ya gave & give, is comin back with a hug & smile 10 fold bro.
The Brother Hood lives on!
I've been stranded in Utica, N.Y. staying at a mission until I find work, since social services in N.Y. is by far the worst place to try and get temporary help in this country. I've lived in other states and recieved food stamps and shelter without even being a resident...where in N.Y. my family has been paying taxes for over 80 years and when I needed to get temporary assistance...food stamps/shelter...I have been treated like a piece of garbage...For this very reason, I will be moving out of N.Y. for good in September.
The good news is, Marshall Tucker played downtown Utica last saturday nite...and I took a walk to get a free lunch handed out by a church near where the band was to perform that nite.
I saw the band setting up and doing a soundcheck around 11:00am...and I walked over and met "Hanz" from Tucker's road crew...I also met Doug Grey...
The first time I saw "Marshal Tucker" was at the One to One Benefit at the Nassau Coliseum opening up for The Allman Brothers.
"Hanz" gave me and two friends, one being a vietnam veteran, Chaz V.I.P. passes to the show!
I closed my eyes and listened to the show and was transported back to High School.
We had a great time courtesy of Marshall Tucker and have to especially thank "Hanz" for getting us into the show.
I was kidding with my friend, "Chaz" that if he could became my manager, I'd nick name him "Blue Dog" since he gave me a few bucks for a "smoothie" and met a beautiful girl from Crotia who worked at the smoothie stand and a cafe called "Mojo's" in Utica near Mohawk Valley Community College.
The Brother Hood lives on!
Hope Your Feeling Better, "Red Dog"
Marsahll Tucker is playing near Syracuse, Friday nite and hope to be there!
Sounds wonderful Dave.... Thanks to all for sharing BIG day all for Red Dog...:dog:

DublinDave, it was good to meet you this weekend! Red Dog, Saturday was off the chain, wudn't it? Awesome time with awesome people, all for a VERY good cause. Was SO good to see Kim again. He was in great spirits and looked WELL. Keep Auggie on top of the prayer list. Treatments start this week. Good luck, man.
Glad to hear everyone had a blast in Macon for Brother RedDog..The reports on this site and the blue site are very nice to hear. The music sounds like it was awesome.
Ed
Hope your throat feels better soon RD
I had a ball. My throat did not say that but the rest of me did. I was so happy to see people from the guest book. Putting faces, to go with the names. Was very nice.
It was a good time , it seemed to me everyone one was having a good time. Got a key to the city. I will be back/.
Sounds like the concert was a true financial success. Willie is still sorting out the money from the tickets and the auction, so I'm not gonna quote dollars here but suffice it to say, it was well worth all the effort put in by John. My hat is off to him and Willie and my prayers are with Augie who starts his treatment this week.
Keep the love and the healing vibes coming; this is when they will really count.
BTW, thanks to everyone who donated items for the auction. It put everything over the top!
Y'all are a great bunch.
Sending out love and healing vibes to all in need, especially Gregg and our Red Dog. :dog:
Hoping RedDog's gig went well! Sending healing (((((vibes))))) out to him not just today...but everyday... :dog:
Hope everyone had a great time this weekend. I'm sure it was a once in a lifetime experience.
Wishing Red Dog much success in his journey. Take care and be well.
Mitch
sending well wishes , prayers, and positive energy to Red Dog :dog:
We all know who the self-appointed leader is nowadays!
Don't give the other remaining (including Butch) members a free pass. They all had to vote.
"Dickey talking about how Duane had made them all make a pact that they would never leave a fallen Brother behind. He said it did not matter if it was alcohol, drugs or women but there would always be a Brotherhood intact and they would always carry a fallen Brother. "
I guess the little drummer boy forgot about that pact!
Thanks Lizzie for posting.. Sounds like a great time and a success for Joseph :dog:
Sav... how did they get that body on the boat... I don't see any forklift marks or grapple pinches... unless there were some very strong men who carried it on ?? Funny... and a cool idea , lots of double takes on the lake...
Got a quick call from Willie and Sonny at the Cox last night.
Sounded like the house was rockin.
My hats off to Kim too for donating his Eat a Peach gold record.
And who said the brotherhood is dead?
Love to all and have a safe trip home.
