Back in 1996 Pam, Sarah and I made our first journey to the R&R HOF. The ABB had a full stage set on display with Goldie, Duane tobacco with his name inlaid on the back with guitar frets, Butches first professional set, a BO Fender Jazz bass as Jr was using the Tractor, one of Greggs Hammond B3's and a set from Jaimoe.
I walked up to a touch TV screen and found my way to the ABB. It began with Dickey talking about how Duane had made them all make a pact that they would never leave a fallen Brother behind. He said it did not matter if it was alcohol, drugs or women but there would always be a Brotherhood intact and they would always carry a fallen Brother.
I think today is the best example of that Brotherhood since before Dickey was let go. I am sorry it took RedDog becoming ill to get to this point.
Thank you RedDog for all you have done to keep the Brotherhood and the Music of the AllmanBrothers Band alive. Enjoy the moment Brother as you have earned it many times over. Peach.
Thinkin' of the :dog: today... hope everything goes well... wish I could be there too...

Hey BNaked. I also agree with Peachmainiac on the sites to visit in Macon. Everytime I have been to Rose Hill Cemetary a freight train has passed by. 😎 Listen for the whistle and the rumbling tracks. Sounds just like "Southbound". Embrace the visit Brother, as it Gods Country. Peach.
The H and H is a must stop, along with the Big house, the cemetary and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame.
we just to Macon and checked into the hotel, first time here (me and wife and dogs). Anyone meetin up from here anywhwere. Where to go and what to do (besides the shows)? any tips or input?
Hope everyone has a wonderfull weekend celebrating the life and times of our Red Dog!:dog:
