Checked on Red Dog earlier this evening. As expected, he was pretty loopy from all the meds, but he did wake up a few times, looked around, saw me, asked how I was doing..... 🙂 He just had major surgery and he asks ME how I am doing.
He's been through a tough procedure, but he's doing pretty well. He's in ICU for now, but maybe some time tomorrow, they'll determine if he's well enough to go back to a regular room.
We'll check on him again tomorrow, and update then.
As Liz mentioned , we are all in the waiting room... waiting and waiting... and it's crowded with all the sisters and brothers... wishing Red Dog a speedy recovery... it's what I am praying for.
Bluedad , Dave , Kirk , Wayne... you are all so wonderful to take care of Red Dog in this way.. to be there , support him and know he is loved by many. When he wakes up and sees all your faces, he will be able to have a more peaceful rest.... and dream of golfing...

Just heard from Bluedad. Auggie is out of surgery and everything went as planned. He is heavily sedated and in recovery. I'll look in on him after I get off of work this evening.
Latest update on Auggie.....he's still in surgery. Must have started late. Bluedad is at the hospital trying to find something out. I'll get down there as soon as I get off work.

I plan on stopping by to check on Auggie after work. I know he'll be out of it most of the day today, but I told him I'd pop in and grab his big toe to let him know I was there. He's got a REALLY cute nurse, but damn, I forgot her name. 🙁
