Hi Pam. I am sorry I missed your Birthday. I hope you had a goodtime day. May you have a Blue Sky day and may your Soulshine. Please tell the soon-to-be hubby that I for one appreciate his service to our Great Nation!! New Years Eve is my Birthday and the last day of my professional career!!! I wish you both all the best.
Thanks for the Kind words Stephen. I hope you are doing well RedDog. Nice to see you posting Brother. Blue Sky day here in Ohio. Peach.
Hi RedDog,
Been right here. Haven't missed a single post.
I've been hard to find since I picked up a guitar. Never learned music, but I figured out how to put strings on an old acoustic and how to tune it. Been having a lot of fun since. Made the mistake of letting a salesman at guitar center set me down with nice stratocaster and now I'm trying to figure out what sort of electric guitar and amp to get.
Dickey is playing in NJ on January 20th,3011 ! Plenty of time to plan for this show!
Stand by your convections, they will always see you through. Value your brain, treat it like it was gold. Sip a little wine while trading a few lines with the ladies. Spirits are on the move.
Good question. Where is the Voador?
Found out this morn that MUddy Waters son Big Bill Morganfeild, played The Music Ranch last night.
Ahhhhhh,someday baby!
Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! 🙂
Red Dog, as Kim says, "I wont take no o-ffense...or a gate!" HAHA!!
The fairy Godmother has been busy with wedding boot camp! 😆 The Army FINALLY approved almost husband some leave time so we set a date for New Years Eve! 😀
Good Sunday morning All!!
:clapping: Jan 29 , 2011 The Concert Hall in NYC... I am not really crazy about this place.. it does no justice for the likes of this band and musicians. The acoustics stink in there... the one good thing is it wont be a sweat box like it was back in July... whew.
I sound like I am bit*hing and moaning , huh... I really am not... Thank you DB GS for coming back out on the lonely road to everyone who is aching to hear you all once again,, What a treat,.,.,. I am there.. Someone mentioned that sitting in the upper balcony was great.... what a decision,, front row or upper... that's a tuffy....
Lizzie... get your back well again,, we have a show to go too.... Yahoo...
Larry voador great to hear from you... please come back and post here,, you are missed , along with Tennkev and many more here.
:dog: :inlove:
Awe...hhhhh...Happy, happy, New Year...happy, happy, joy, joy...New England/Jersey dates!
Jungle Bells will work just fine. Listen to the wind, as the dark clouds move in.
Welcome back JK! Also glad to see Red Dog posting again. I hope other dates get announced soon as I would love to start making plans for a show. I love seeing Dickey in the big apple even though it is 350 miles away it is worth it! I don't know if anyone has noticed but not many bands are touring right now and I think it's because of the shitty economy. Thinking of going to see Jerry Douglass @ a small 200 seat venue near the NH border later this month. Saw him with Allison Krausse a few years ago and he IS the best dobro player in the world!
Hey to all!
Red Dog, yep it is passover time in a way of speaking...blood over the door....
I was going to say something, that was in my head, to Pam, but on second thought, it might not go over to good here on the guest book. I was thinking it is cute but others might not think so. When one speaks of the Rose, one has to be careful how, he or she uses the word in sentence. Get my drift. B day for the Lady Pam.
Thanks Sonny. That clears that up.
Chimes on the front porch, chiming in the wind, kept the evil spirits away. Good morning to all. Were your chimes, chiming in the wind last night?
:birthday: Pam :birthday:
:birthday: wishes and a Blue Sky day to Pam.. you are missed on both sites.. Have a wonderful day 🙂
Stephen Old Friend , great to hear from you and really great to see you posting on GB...
rajo , glad you are feeling better.
I wonder how Tyler is doing BSJ ?
:dog: :inlove:
RedDog, no i didn't make the stickers or come up with the saying. people have been saying it for years. A friend of mine gave me a button about three years ago that says Cancer Sucks with a survivor ribbon. It seemed like something i would say so i say it all the time.
thinking of you today my Cigar City brother and hope you are doing something you like today............
...made it to the day,
good morning all .
Lock your doors. The spirits are on the move. Lurking for the weak. Screaming with the wind as they cry for the lost souls. The web of Time and Space is here and there, why its everywhere. Lock your doors.
Sonny I am curious about something. When I was at the DR's yesterday one of the girls gave me a sticker. All it said was Cancer Sucks. First thing to hit my brain, was that saying you always have at the bottom of your post. I am wondering if that is your saying, and you had it put out as a sticker? It is a great saying and so very true. I found myself saying it yesterday when they told me the cancer was in my spine. First words to come to my mind. Cancer Sucks.
while i'm at it.....good healing vibes to RedDog, Lizzie, Nic and all else that need them.......That's my birthday wish to ALL my brothers and sisters....i am a lucky man to have all of you in my life......THANKS.....
