Can I rant about something that may touch a nerve with a few? People wearing cologne or perfume. That subject can really touch off a discussion. Today, I literally walked by a woman that had douched or doused or both with so much perfume that it literally...literally...attacked anyone walking near her. I just passed her in the store on my way to buy apples. The apples turned yellow, and I had to drive straight home and shower off the episode...no it was not good for me, either :). And to top it ALL off...this woman was wearing scrubs! We were "taught" never, ever, never dare to flunk your ass if you wore a hint of perfume or cologne to a clinical setting in nursing school. Why you have to teach a person this in the first place is beyond me, but, suffice to say its necessary. I worked alongside one physician that would wear the cheapest, loud shitt you could imagine. He stunk. Add a hairpiece, and ya got cheeseball. I have a nurse friend that had severe allergies, and some freeking patient care assistants would come to work wearing their junk on their junk from what was described to me. My friend would not complain because the supervisor would not address the issue. Had to see a friend on the floor a little while later, and just so happened to catch first hand what my friend was suffering from. So, I go to the nurses station and ask them to page the house supervisor that I had a complaint. She comes up to me and asks what is my complaint, and I could tell she was pissed to stop what she was doing. I said I dont know what kind of hospital you are running, but please send a memo to the Gift Shop advising the A&F model of spraying their scent out in the mall is not a novel idea in a hospital setting...nor is the model of clinicians trying to outdo one another in boom box parfume mode. In other words, get off your ass and enforce your policies re employees wearing scents to work. Oh, that was a kodak moment... Remember musk oil??? hahahaha now DAT was da disco bomb!! Im laughing at the thought of Leisure Suit Larry.... Anyways...some people and their parfume choices of what/when/how much are a riot to me. BO & perfume/cologne = gag reflex ANyways, gotta run to the store and buy some apples. Later..

Welcome Back Mr.Jim 😀 Joseph always great to hear from you... I am wishing and praying for you to feel better. :inlove: Sav... very funny , thanks for sharing.. Thank You Rick :winky: Lizzie sorry to hear about all your pain.. I had a bad year last year, first the torn rotator cup in my right shoulder and surgery to repair that.. for me, nothing was more painful... then I tripped at work and broke my right ankle in 3 places so there are a total of 10 screws , plate and some wires in there .... more pain... I took the allotted amount of pain medication... I am not a big pill taker... but on that shoulder... I could not wait to take the meds for it. It all gets better in time.. you need to rest your back... do nothing.. back injury's are very difficult , it's the highway to your whole body... Sending healing vibes your way.. Yes, it is good to see some posters.. Hey, where is Luke

Jimmy I just wanted you to know what it meant to me. I kept Karen's peace necklace hanging over my head on a track-son bar that was attached to the bed I was in. Spirits were all around me. Watching and keeping me safe.

P.S. The edit button is working. My health insurance doesn't cover chiropractic care. My doctor is not a pleasant individual and has a certain affinity for opiates. Seems to prefer time release morphine over acetaminophin with a smattering of Vicodin and, no, he won't write me a prescription because I might get addicted. Savannah, thank you, brilliant; I needed that.
