Just dropping in to let y'all know I am still here just unable to read too much; much too sad.
I don't have the exact link because it's on an email I don't have the energy to go back and find it, but Hart's Mortuary in Macon has in Macon has an obituary on line for Joseph Lawrence "Red Dog" Campbell where there is a guest book you can sign.
It is my intention to be in Macon for his memorial on April 11, I think. Willie told me I had to go for me, and for Red Dog, that it would mean a great deal to his memory and our friendship, and I will as much to honor him as to see my friends.
Travel safe Nicodemus...
We had a good visit in Macon. I am glad we came. Thanks to Judi, Clark and all the folks here that took care of our Brother. We are southbound this morning on our way to the Sunshine State!! Peach.
....just the vibe thinking about a Brother...
Voader, thanks for that link. Makes me smile, but also makes me sad to know I'll never hear Auggie tell more "tails" like this. I hope you don't mind, but I shared it.
I just found a boat load of ABB photos. Something for everyone, especially Dickey fans. There's a couple of Red Dog in here, as well. Copy and paste this link---> http://kp4544.zenfolio.com/p769534063
Really feel the loss. Red Dog was such a beautiful soul. Heaven is rocking like crazy now. Condolences to you Dickey and folks.

RIP Mr. Campbell.
I hope Duane & Berry put you right to work getting ready for the next gig.
Last night I logged on to the site, and when I went to the guestbook, an interview with Red Dog was playing, but I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out where it was coming from. It was Red Dog talking about Dickey in Rose Hill scaring a passing fisherman. Pretty funny, as Dog was chuckling as he told the story. Where'd that come from, and how can I hear it again?
from facebook.......
hey everyone, in red dogs request there will not be an funeral service, instead he wanted us to celebrate with stage, music, and bands. we are working on an event in april to celebrate his life. your donations will go to cover his final medical expenses if any, and possibly go to the middle georgia hospice as they helped us so much through these difficult months - clark bush.
In the spirit of back when.....
