I am also sending Prayer to Jim's Father and entire Family. I hope all went well today. Hey Tyler. That is Great news that your band did a benefit for young Amalia. You have a Big Heart Brother!!! I also am sorry that this little girl has to go through treatments. I Pray that she and her Family get the medical help they need. You are so right tyler about appreciating healthy children. Pam and I went to Applebees tonight and I enjoyed a free meal for my service as a Veteran. It is very cool how many eating places have reached out to the Vets this year. 😎 It was good to get out of the house. Sorry I missed your call Kevin. I hope you all have a safe & Goodtime week. Peach.

[quote]Berry,Duane & Dickey the heart and soul of the Allman Brothers Band! Everyone else was just seasoning to the sound. [quote] Right on bro, can't be said any better lightning in a bottle -- that's what those 3 guys were -- & the whole band too, but like you said, Berry, Duane & Dickey were the instrumental "voice" & the best there ever was for interplay, slammin' leads & solos etc etc....

Thanks to all our Servicemen, Servicewomen and their Families. I do Pray for Forrest safety Brent and I am glad Walter reminded me his Daughter Sarah is in the Naval Academy and will become a comissioned Naval Officer next year. Our Grandson Myles has made us all so Proud by joining the Air Force upon graduation from high school. It was his life dream to join the Air Force since he was 5 years old. I guess my taking him to work on bring a kid to work day paid off. Myles is excelling in Electricians Tech School as we speak. The committment Frankiebootleg and his Brother made to serve together is also quite impressive and Honorable. Our younger generation is the future of this Great Nation. We have many reasons to be proud of the children and grandchildren of many members of this site. If you can read this thank a teacher. If you can read this in english thank a Veteran!!! May God watch over us all and may God Bless the United States of America!!!! Peach.

Thinking about my son serving in Afganistan with a Special Forces team somewhere in the desert. Thanks to all our men and women in harms way doing their duty. Remembering all the brave veterans who gave all so that we may enjoy the freedom of this great nation. America will survive in spite of this administartions efforts to destroy the liberty and rights guaranteed by our Constitution.

Right on Brother Tyler. That sure was a kind thing y'all did for that little girl. Very sad to see anyone, especially a child, have to go thru anything like that. My apologies to jimbeejambee....I don't guess you have done anything that we all haven't done from time to time. Just wish you would contribute a little more often to try to change things, I guess. I like knowing whats going on w/ everyone on here and if music is all that is being talked about, then I wouldn't get to know how cool all you cats are. :waving: Hey Rainygirl. Thanks for asking Sis.....we're still hanging in there. A year later and the shoulder is pretty much the same. I wouldn't have done it, if I had it to do all over again. But, I'm glad that yours was a success. Prayers and vibes to all you cats.

Good old Sunday morning :sunny: I am happy you are home Nic..best way to recover..No Place Like Home 🙂 Also Stephen I read on ABB that you had posted about having a kidney stone..Hope you are recovered and all is well.. Kev how is the shoulder these days.. I must say after rotator cup surgery ( 😮 ) I thought my shoulder would never be the same.. I was wrong. It is very good.. I hope you have the same results.. Many Thanks to all our service men and women.. And he said... "I'm real thankful for having had "road schooling" really early. I learned music has nothing to do with how you move your hands and everything to do with what's in your heart." -- Dickey Betts :dog:  :inlove:

:wall: And again jimbeejambee............for the 2nd time. Try posting some more on the guestbook. Trying initiating some topics on the guestbook to talk about, rather than b*tching about what is being talked about. Believe me, I'm glad to see you posting again. I'm glad to see you contributing on the forums. I don't like seeing members going at each other as of late. Again, try changing the culture around here instead of coming on here every 2 or 3 weeks and throwing in a negative comment. I surf around on several different musicians websites. I tend to post here the most because I genuinely like the people that post here. I like the smaller, family vibes that is usually the norm around here. On all the music websites that I frequent, there is a wide range of topics that are being discussed on a daily basis. Its not always going to be about music, especially when the band is not out on tour. I'm really sorry that some of you folks get bent out of shape if it isn't always about music. It is just not being realistic to expect to always be that way. Rant over. Amen to Brothers Nic and Dan's posts. Lotsa love and prayers to all.

Thank you to all the Veterans who served our Great Nation. A special thank you to my Brother Frankiebootleg, Forrest Sibley and our Grandson Myles Hoffman. I don't care which Branch you served for, where you served or for how long you served. To sign on the dotted line, take an Oath to serve and then serve with Honor is what I appreciate. May God Bless you all. Please take a moment to say a Prayer for our Servicemen, Servicewomen and their Families as they stand watch over us all. Peach.

Went into town to see The Outlaws last night. If you ever have the chance to see 'em play live - go to the show ! Amazingly great music, both the songs and the misicianship. During the show I could clear hear Dickey playin' up there on the stage. This is a band Dickey could really work with. Imagine Dickey and Henry Paul writing even more new tunes! 'course I'm still wantin' a "Collectors Vol. 2"; but I'm an old fan of The Man in the Hat. Peace Y'all, Tom :smoke:
