Hey Now!!! I just stopped by to say hey to my Brothers and Sisters of the road. I am holding my own and hopefully healing up a little each day. This is going to take some time to recover. I do hope to go home in the next day or so with IV ainti-biotics at home. I hope all in the path of the noreaster are doing OK and getting by. The folks in that part of the country are survivors and will help each other. If there is anything I can send to any of you please let me know. Pam and I hope to go to one or more of the Sunshine Blues Festivals in SW Florida around 20 January. That is a motivation to heal up and get our sails into the wind. One can always have hopes and dreams. Please bring your band to Ohio Dickey. We always fill the venues for you up here. 😎 Cleveland and Cincinnati are always good stops for DB&GS. Whats ol' Uncle Ted done or said now? 😆 Like so many things in life, I have mixed emotions about this as well. On one hand I see Ted as a loud mouthed, ego maniac, extremely opinionated, legend in his own mind, please STFU sack of sh*t. Being a big fan of Jerry Garcia, it has always kinda pissed me off concerning the insensative remarks he has made about the death of Garcia. I think he has said the same things about Kurt Cobain and others as well. But, I'll give him props on things like the right to keep and bear arms, hunting and conservation, and where he really gets a BIG.........man that is a great thing you've done Ted.........is when he takes children with cancer and other life threatening diseases out on a fishing trip or a hunting trip, or so I've read/heard anyway. Musically, I think Ted is great if your a pimply faced, pubescent male, playing air guitar and dreaming of wang dang sweet poontang. I mean, I don't think he could carry Garcia's jock strap in any way musically. I certainly wouldn't put Ted in the "One of the Greats" category, but I'm guessing some would which is fine. But, Garcia is dead, so was/is Ted totally wrong about drugs & booze? Hell, I don't know. I know that I like to party from time to time, but then again, I'm not addicted to heroin. I wish he would STFU every once in a while, spark up a big fattie, and mellow out. Just my opinions, so please excuse the ramblings. I certainly don't want to offend anyone, so I apologize if I have done so. I must have the cat scratch fever 😆 .

The gas situation is out of control, long lines everywhere..and many stations just OUT OF GAS.. I just waited on line and was about the 5th one to the pumps..when attendant out came put up ropes and said OUT OF GAS... saving the last bit I have for work.. I hope to make it through the weekend.. This to shall pass.. I hope.. Nic you are the ray of sunshine through all of this.. I am relived and happy that meds are helping with that nasty infection. Keep your spirits up in the Blue Sky and keep letting your soulshine.. You are more than an inspiration... Brent I am keeping your son Forrest and all service men and women in my prayers for safety..
