Isn't the Garcia nod the Franklin's Tower intro to Blue Sky? They did the intro last night.
I don't temember the name of the song, but it was Dickey's tip of the hat to Jerry Garcia. They haven't played it at a show I've bbe to in a while, but it would be great if they put it back in the setlist.

I've been thinking about my post the other day where I said not many groups could match the ABB's work from 1969-1975. On second thought i don't think any group could. At first I thought well maybe Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young but on further review I don't think even CSNand Y stand up to ABB. Start w/ "midnight rider" and "Revival" on to the Fillmore east and "Eat a Peach" then add "Brothers and Sisters" and you have a run unmatched in my opinion.

me too.....:(.......EVERY day.....Moon & Annie are in a MUCH better place (still gets dicey @ chow time w/ 4 now vs 2 )........I pray Liz is in a better place.....at least she is finally free & at peace......JK
I don't recognize that song Brock, but it has a cool Western Swing vibe mixed with a dash of BWIAB. Myabe it's some of the new material Duane spoke of.

Great time last night. Duane Betts is much better than I remembered from 6 yrs ago, and Dickey seemed in good spirits, even sort of pogo-ing during Southbound, where Chris Anderson, Henry Paul and Jimmy Hall joined.
