Its been hard to come and post. right after the benefit I had to go in to have aport and a feeding tube putin. Well the feeding tube(Peg) has been killing me. Can't walk up right, look like a 90 year old man walking. I will say alot of pain with this thing. I have been very miserable ever since they put the peg in. So today I am trying to get pain refill and nurse seems to think I am taking pain pills like candy because of my neck. I told her, heck no it's this peg that is killing me. She this tells me it's not supposed to hurt that bad and should not be hurting now. Plus all of a sudden they have stopped everything because they want a letter from the V A saying it's O K for the medical center to treat me and the V A will pay it. What a mess they got me in. I know one thing I am tired of hurting and I will be at the medical center first thing in the morning like a broke dic* dog.
Hop to it, Rainy!

Good morning!
Ms. Rainy, I read a Guitar World article years ago that was interviewing the great Steve Miller. He explained his songwriting "formula", which is easily recognizable in many of his great hit recordings. He also explained "pompitous", which was simply a word that he made up to fit within the songline. Google the word itself; it has become a cult classic! Steve Miller is a cool genius, and I had the pleasure of seeing his show last summer in Saint Augustine. Miller introduced his harmonica player as "the guy that's been riding on my bus for more than thirty years". That was the great Norton Buffalo. RIP, Norton. I think I'll fire up the turntable for a dose of "Steve Miller's Midnite Tango".
"Pompitous" vibes to all of you!!
Rick,
Congrats on the new opportunity & good luck.

getting up early tomorrow morning, heading to my new gig in Nashville. Got what I think is a super opportunity as a Sr. Clinical Consultant, doing what I do. Will travel to client sites most weeks, but, cool thing the company is based out of nashville, and, when Im not out I work from home.
Hope to meet a few family and friends perhaps traveling....going to see my good friend Frank Young next week.

Been busy so I haven't been around a lot. I still check in quite offten to keep up with the readin' but haven't posted much. It seems like everything is breakin' down around this house and I have been fixin' it!
I had a great time last week gettin' together with brother Tony at the State Fair here in Wisconsin. We checked out Molly Hatchett...we were not too impressed with them...Having seen Dickey and how he speaks so well through his singing and his guitar, you just know that it's from the heart...Unlike the rest...
My little summer break is about over as well, I head back to school on Thursday...I'm half way done.... Been busy doin' the whole band thing again too...got together with the original 2 other guys that put the band together with me and we hashed out our issues and we are rebuilding the band...drummer auditions on Monday....
As always... Sending (((((Healing Vibes))))) to brother RedDog :dog: hope he is doin' well....
