I am praying for you RedDog. Hang in there Brother!!! hanging with Partners is good therapy. I will now share that I also had a positive cancer biopsy two weeks ago. This is the third go around for me and they indicated they got all clean edges. It is what it is. Fight the Fight Brother. Take care of yourself. You are not in this alone. Peach.

I have not posted for a while, as I have had a lot to think about. I do that best when I just shut the door and live with myself. Things have changed a lot. As it stands right now. I will be going to surgery on the 19 of this month. I need the relief the surgery will bring. They want me to do the surgery, and later do chemo and radiation. I will not be able to do radiation right away as they are going to have to do a skin graft from my thigh to my neck. So It has to heal first then I will be able to be hit with radiation. Now if I do all three of these, it still only gives me a 20 to 3o % chance. If it does not work they say 9 month to a year and a half. It seems the cancer is on the move. Starting to get in the upper spine, in the back of my neck and my main artery to my brain on the right side of my neck. As I said, I am going to do the surgery because I need the relief. Because of the percentages, I will hold off on making any other decisions until after surgery. It is what it is, and I will do my best to hang. I just got this feeling surgery will take care of the situation. I am swinging a golf club. Went with my golf partners as they want me to just ride around with them. but I had to hit some balls. Nothing over 60 yards. Mainly chipping and puting. Yesterday, beside my house I did hit the driver. Felt good to swing the big stick. Felt good to be out with my partners. Again I want to thank you all for your support and well wishes. Those that were able to make it to the benefit I can't start to tell you how much it meant to me. Not the money but the amount of people that showed up touched me. I enjoyed talking with those that I go to speak with. Wished I could have talked with everyone. I love to rap and tell stories. Too many lights up here to see the stars in any spectacular formation...the Big Dipper is as big as it gets around here. Pegasus - a symbol of strength and beauty. Just like the vibe here. Woke up thinking it was my day off. It is not. Love and prayers to our Red Dog today. Please keep those prayers coming for friend, Doug. Hopefully, he's coming home this week for hospice care and the comfort of his own bed. Life comes, life is, life goes. Enjoy while you got it. Not sure why I couldn't post this with the picture but... Just wanted to share a pic of my son Derek with you all! He just turned 9 months on Wed. and is standing-carwling- and getting into everything! He is even trying to talk now and I swear he said dad yesterday! I can't believe how fast they grow!

Hey brother Luke!! Be seein' a lot of crazy stuff up in the sky here lately.... I think of you every time... not in a bad way... you know what I mean... 🙂 Gonna have to rap with ya soon... Don't know what has been going on here in my neck of the woods... I got a call from my dad while he was upnorth saying he locked his keys in the truck and he was out in the sticks...The message was hard to understand and I couldn't get ahold of him because his cell phone was goin' in and out of reception.... He ended up bustin' out the window and driving home 300+ miles that way... Then, I got a call from him today and he had gone out early this morning to take pictures and he hit a horse! Thank god he swerved and only caught part of the horse... It put a crease in the roof and busted the windsheild... The horse ended up actually being OK because my dad stuck around until the vet came. As far as I am concerned.... the craziness can end now!!!

Good ole Sunday morning ya'll !!!! Hope everyone is having a good weekend !!!! I have had the pleasure of seeing DDT many times since 2000 and he has ALWAYS been a joy to see & hear play!!!! You can never doubt whether DDT is having a good time or not with that famous smile that he is known for!!!! Heck I probably am smiling bigger watching him though!!!= ) Last time we seen DDT was at the Saving Lilly's Eyes show and he was kind enough to hang out afterwards with several fans and take pics and just rap about life!!!! And is it me or is it bout time for DB to get back out doing his thing???? I am going through withdrawls here!!!!
