Darn animals, people things just keep happening. We could use a break. I think I have finally got the right word on what is happening with my surgery. Looks like the V A doe's not want to foot the bill for some ones else's operating room, so they are now going to do my surgery next wed. at the V A facility in Augusta on Wed. the 13th. I will check in on the 12th for pre-op stuff. I will be glad to get this over. If anyone is in the area, feel free to stop by and visit. I don't know anybody in Augusta. So any visitors ill be welcomed.

well, Augie, I was plannnnning to cruise through Macon about the 14th or 15th, figured it would be just before your surgery when it was scheduled for the 19th... but if you are in the VA on the 13th I may have to reschedule my plans...
I'll let ya know... my schedule is day to day right now, i may just hit the road tomorrrow if I get a rag in the tail

Capn, you know I would love to break bread with you anytime. I was going to surgery on the 19th and also on the 11th I have to do all the pre op stuff. Now surgery might be on the 13th at the V A instead of the Ga. School of Medicine. I guess the V A wants to do it at their place to save some money. They are paying for this part of my treatment. I should know something in a day or two. Let me know what day you would like to do this sit down?
I am hoping to head North next week

When you hear statistics and percentages, coming from the docs, understand that every patient is an individual, and can have a better outcome too. Don't let numbers be overly important.
