I've been a fan of Devan for a while but I had no idea Elijah Blue could do that. Both of these guys are excellent singers, too - as good if not even more talented than Gregg.

Brent, I looked up Bob Howard's MOH Citation, and he probably is the reason anyone survived that day. Very brave. Mitch

I posted this on the forum but thought a few more people might see it here. It's a stunning video of Elijah Blue Allman playing Little Wing. I had no idea that he was that talented. This is simply amazing....almost Steve Vai amazing, I'd say... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5rFjLf24DM&NR=1

So glad that put a smile on your face, Liz! I bet I've watched that thing 25 times...of course they're my family so I might be a tad partial to it, but it makes me smile every time! Can you get to a pool? When I was having my problems the best relief for me was floating in a pool with two of those foam straw floats curving one with the two end pieces under my arms with the "U" under my neck and the other straw under my feet. It takes almost 100% of the stress off your back and also gave me immense relief. In fact after doing that every day for about an hour a day for a couple weeks, I was better. It sounds like your condition is chronic, but I bet this would give you some real relief.

Hey, Liz! I'm so sorry you're in so much pain. I sure hope your treatment will yield some relief. I've been pretty lucky with my health so far but I've been in excruciating back pain before and it sure ain't a walk in the park. I believe you're going to get better soon and you can betchya I'll be praying for you. Don't know if this will work but if it does, I bet it'll cheer you up. Brent, are you talking about Robert L. Howard? Did he pass away today or in 2009? Im a little confused so clear us up! Only 3,448 Americans have been awarded Medals of Honor. Today only 87 of them survive. Regardless, a great hero. http://rlhtribute.com/

Let us all give a moment of prayer and thanks to Bob Howard. He passed away today. A true American hero, winning the Congressional Medal of Honor after being nominated three times for heroism. Mr. Howard was Special Forces, Vietnam...a great American. God bless you Mr. Howard and thank you for defending this great nation. Rest in Peace.

Bummer about that back Liz -- can they give you a cortisone shot to relieve any immediate bad pain -- hopefully it will get straightened out w/the right treatment Shout out to Red Dog, best to you bro -- resiliency man-- way to go & I know it's not a complete walk in the woods yet at this early stage, but still...all the best & to all who appreciate the good vibe My two faves here, & rightfully of many others too, Rain & Kitty ((())) -- always the best & to Capn, Ann, Nic et al -- music is where it's at -- Dickey is the man

3 bulging discs and arthritis. A couple of non-narcotic meds (oh, to dream, a Vicodin), physical therapy and steroid shots. Phooey. Love to all, especially Nic, Red Dog, Dusty, Rainy and Noah. TennKev, thinking of you. If missed any of you other battling illness, and other health issues what we can't do alone we can do together. You are not forgotten in my prayers.
