Can you get to a pool? When I was having my problems the best relief for me was floating in a pool with two of those foam straw floats curving one with the two end pieces under my arms with the "U" under my neck and the other straw under my feet. It takes almost 100% of the stress off your back and also gave me immense relief. In fact after doing that every day for about an hour a day for a couple weeks, I was better. It sounds like your condition is chronic, but I bet this would give you some real relief.

Hey, Liz! I'm so sorry you're in so much pain. I sure hope your treatment will yield some relief. I've been pretty lucky with my health so far but I've been in excruciating back pain before and it sure ain't a walk in the park. I believe you're going to get better soon and you can betchya I'll be praying for you. Don't know if this will work but if it does, I bet it'll cheer you up. This is my son, his wife, 2 boys, and Ripples....

Let us all give a moment of prayer and thanks to Bob Howard. He passed away today. A true American hero, winning the Congressional Medal of Honor after being nominated three times for heroism. Mr. Howard was Special Forces, Vietnam...a great American. God bless you Mr. Howard and thank you for defending this great nation. Rest in Peace.

Bummer about that back Liz -- can they give you a cortisone shot to relieve any immediate bad pain -- hopefully it will get straightened out w/the right treatment
