To change the subject I just started reading Keith Richards "Life" . What a brutaly honest account of the life of his. I must add their is a continuing sense of humour running through the book also. Just through the first 100 pages he as asked himself "What The Hell Was I Thinking" many times..it is a great read so far. I am enjoying it considerably.

Duane was THE MAN!
On this night 39 years ago the Dead were in town (Cleveland, Ohio)playing at Allen Theater WNCR was promoting the show. They broadcasted the show live...the Dead opened up with Truckin'. Two days later I found out about Duane what a perplexing feeling I had that week... never been the same since. Every year I play on Oct 29 I play that Dead show after listening to the Fillmore album...the high's and lows of yesteryear and now too.
Peace.

Duane Berry Dickey Gregg Jamoe and Butch changed my life forever..Time for some wine and ABB and the Dead.
my mom will be 80 tomorrow. She is in good health and I´m very thankful for that.
Whole family gonna celebrate.
Thinking of Duane today. I sent my sons an email and asked them to remember him play his music today. Jason (29) emailed back that he will and Billy(22) called to say hello and assure me that he would do the same. We talked about Duane's legacy and also that there are some young people like him who won't let the music die. I couldn't ask for anything more. :smokinsmiley:
God rest you Brother Duane.
You will forever be in my heart, my soul, and my music.
Jammin for Duane....everyday.
Not sure Rick. He was in the news yesterday.
