Tonight is a huge night for Ohio State Football as we take on Arkansas. We never have done well against the SEC and hoping for a better showing tonight.
Tonight is also the last night I will see Piqua Graduate Brandon Saine take the field for the Buckeyes. He is such a fine young man and has represented us folks from Piqua well. Best of luck to you Brandon in what your future may bring. GO BUCKEYES!!!!!! Peach.

Doug passed at 12:30 AM this morning. He is now at peace.

Hope everyone had a great NYE. We were minding the grandkids, and I got to see the event through the eyes of a four year old. It was a whole new experience for me.

Today Doug is in a space between life and death, a surreal and mysterious place where he is meeting and communing with the deities and God as we know him. Claire told me about the Buddhist Bodha states. Very interesting. Death is a process and he is blessed enough to be going through this as the plan for life intended. Who knows what awaits him but I have no doubt that is it nothing but good. "Turn off your mind, surrender to the void; it is not dying, it is not dying"....Lennon. There is something magical that waits him.
It is time for prayers for the exhausted family that is sitting vigil. :angel:
