Thanks for everyone's good wishes. The interview went well but I won't know for a few weeks. I may have a pay history that scares them (USED to make a lot). Hope they noticed that I wrote "flexible" in salary requested box. Sending love to :dog: and to Brent and to whoever else. Thanks, Ghandi ๐Ÿ˜‰

More good luck wishes comin your way, Lizzie. You may have wanted to crawl back in bed this morning, but just wait until your first day on the job and you'll jump up like a daisy in May! Gary Moore was a tone master. During the "Still Got the Blues For You" era, there were few around who took that mighty Les Paul sustain to the heights he did. (Mr. Betts is a founding member of this great group!) I believe Gary Moore had the old Peter Greene LP, and it was, and still is considered one of the Holy Grail Les Pauls. These awful debilitating diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and MS are tough on all affected, but become so evident when they cut short the careers of those with god-given gifts who we have all connected with for so long. (I hope I conveyed that correctly) RIP Gary....Turn it up. Does anyone know the current condition of ARS's Barry Bailey? Love to you all!

Interview day and it's raining. Gives me the excuse to wear funky boots but it'll destroy my new hair do. Just as well; it's not supposed to be about what I look like just whether or not I'm qualified and if they like my vivacious personality. LOL. Would rather go back to bed. Sending love and prayers to :dog: as always.

Pam & I attended the Albert Collins/ABB show at Riverbend in Cincinnati. ๐Ÿ˜Ž It was like just a couple of weeks before he passed. Albert was the "Master Of The Telecaster". He had like a 200 foot cord on his ax. He walked out into the crowd and would play licks for folks who waved him to them. He was a great blues man!!!! Peach.

Speaking of Gary Moore, while not my cup of tea, he was a great fan and admirer of Albert Collins. Don't know if others have heard any of the summer 1993 Allman Brothers shows, but there's a stretch late June and early July where Albert and his band opened for the Brothers, and each night, Dickey would introduce Albert for a tune, usually something like The Same Thing. Doing so, one could clearly hear Dickey's respect and appreciation for Albert and his musical legacy. Dickey's respect for, and what he's taken in his own style from the blues greats, is another aspect of his playing that really pulls me in.
