Just watched the Dreams video and starting crying at about 2 1/2 minutes and by the time it was over, I could feel myself soaring with emotion. Can I change my name to DREAMS instead of Pastdreams? They will never be past, we are in the here and now. There is a great deal of sadness in my heart for Red Dog. My interview went OK. Whatever happens is God's will, not mine. We're all where we're supposed to be right now but if I had my druthers, I'd be back sitting at the Fillmore with my mouth hanging open and my eyes closed, listening to this truly inspired music. I can't even call it music; I call it DREAMS. Love to you all today. People can you feel it?

Good morning and love to Red Dog :dog: and all the rest of you. Keep those old time stories coming. You honor your elders by re-telling their stories. 😎 That cruise looks fantastic! Hope somebody from the DB&GS family gets to go. Rainy - I'm rooting for ya!

Hey blueskyjohnson!! Doesnt that movie get u everytime?? Everyone should see it atleast once! Have you ever seen Second Hand Lions...thats our other favorite. If you havent you must!! Yes listening to old stories are the best, I have one grandparent left and for about a year now I have been asking her questions about the "old days" and videoing it so my kids will have it forever....Hopefully it will be cherished forever.

Hey Kitty  The old stories are a cool thing...funny how at the time you don't think about how important they are until they are not around... 🙁 My grandpa used to tell me the same jokes everytime I would come down to Arkansas to see him and when he would ask if I heard that one before and I would always tell him no...even though I had heard them all dozens of times.... That cruise looks kick ass! That would be awesome to have a bunch of the folks from here get together for a gathering and have a good 'ol time. 😀

Hey everybody - love to read your stories...Tyler - couldn't help but think of Highway Call when you talked about your grandfathers stories. When Grandaddy told his stories, he always made them so real......

Hey gapeach69! I love that movie Big Fish. It reminds me a lot about my grandfather and how I used to listen to his stories when I was younger. Sure do miss him as he has been gone since '99. Also love hearing Ramblin' Man too! That is the icing on the cake in that movie! 😀

Was watching a DVD of one of our favorite movies last night, BIG FISH, it is a beautiful story of a man and his sons relationship. It takes you thru the man's life from the 1940's up until about present day with great music from each decade ...BUT as many times as I have seen it, I always get xcited when they transition to the 1970's and you hear the starting riff of Rambling Man....me and my sons were just sittng there all singing along in unison ....grinning like jackasses eating briars 😀 Dont ya just love it!! The first song the director chose to represent the 1970's was Dickey's!! Kirk West is no longer involved with the ABB for a couple years now... Have a great day everybody!

Good evening Brothers and Sisters, Thanks for the ABB "Dreams" w/Duane video. I used to hear about a taping the original ABB did for WNYC here in New York. Anybody know about this? Hey Tennesse Kev....Us Kevs gotta stick together! Someone once said that to me. Safe travels all. Sweet thoughts to Red Dog. Query:...is Kirk West still as involved w/the ABB? Kevin B

Albert Collins didn't play a thinline; his had one humbucker in the neck position and a regular Tele pickup in the bridge, which was the only pickup he used....
