I'm sorry, TennKev...
Morning ,
I am so sorry Kev...my deepest heartfelt sympathies sent your way to you and family... Be strong and know Grandma is in a better place..
Thanks to Nic on the info regarding Danny's health.. sending him prayers and well wishes...
Nic I hope you are recovering at a nice pace and feeling stronger everyday.. Your in my thoughts and prayers..
It is a wonderful thing to be enlightened in ways maybe we once knew but somewhere along the way we dropped it, lost it, forgot it... to once again be found and renewed into our souls. Jesus loves each and everyone of us.. he is the higher power ,may he have mercy on all our souls.. I believe...
Rick sounds like a nice getaway.. I always wanted to go to the Ryman theater and I am sure I would kiss that blessed stage as well... You and Mara are becoming world travelers... Europe and now alittle get away.. Whats your secret on how it is done ??????
Larry Thank you for the pm and link to your video .. just beautiful.. seeing alot of folks from here... Mitch , looking good with your guitar in hand
Listening to it made me think of another Jackson Brown song I hadn't heard in a long time..
here it is...
Have a wonderful day...
:dog:  :inlove:
Thanks for prayers, encouragement, vibes, and pm's everybody. I truly appreciate it. My grandmother passed last night around 8:30. Got lots of traveling ahead of me over the next few days, but I wanted to jump on and thank you folks before I left.
Mara and I took off for a long weekend to derez and have some fun. I hate planned vacations, so we said Nashville and away we went.
One thing I will share is we went on the Ryman Auditorium tour...actually it was it was fun and so much history it was actually overwhelming at times.
No surprise here, but I kissed the stage floor. She kissed me back, soft aged kiss with so many memories.
Ive kissed the bricks at Indy, and the floor of the Ryman. Now, if I kissed Claude's arse, what a trifecta HAHAHAHA 🙂
I was moved by Danny's expression of love for his wife, Debby. I was given his cell # by a friend who need not be named so I could meet up with him when DBGS were arriving somewhere (maybe Westbury?) some years back. I called and I called but the phone was turned off. Dan knew I would be calling and this very good friend of ours had made sure, but yet the phone was off?
When Danny saw me, he explained that he'd turned his phone off because he'd been on the road for quite awhile and his latest phone bill was about $800 from talking to his wife. That's a lot of talking. You must be a very special lady, Debby.
Great stuff, Nic -- thank you so much for sharing that -- wanted to say, 38 Special was on that tour that came to Manchester that time with Charlie & Dickey -- I try not to google stuff, but yes, I believe it was 2001 :colors:
No matter -- you're a great guy & all the best -- hope you had a great weekend on the lake -- would like to say, thank you Danny T for your good heartedness & great music, & am thinking of you both with friendship & positive vibes en route

I am trully blessed in my life. Yesterday a healing Ministry visted our local church and I received Prayers from so many as I have from so many here. I was humbled by the event. I had a follow-up visit by our Pastor today. We had a nice chat as I have some questions and am struggling with one issue being forgiveness. At time I find it very hard to forgive and I need to work on that.
As I have been on this journey of late a very good Friend of mine has helped me find God through Jesus Christ as have my Wife Pam and Daughter Sarah. That person is Danny Toler. He has reached out to me and I am a better person because of Danny. I Love him very much. The following was posted on the ABB website GB so I have taken it upon myself to share it here. I have received many inquiries about what is ailing Danny. Please help if you are able and would like to. Peach.
here is the article in full, minus publicity shots and ABB video featuring Danny and Frankie ..
as much as Danny Toler has offered a hand up to so many, I doubt anyone will object to posting this article here.

Former Allman Brothers Band guitarist and Manatee County resident Dan Toler has gone public about his worsening battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, also referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease).
His younger sibling, drummer David “Frankie†Toler, died June 4 at Tidewell hospice care in Bradenton after a prolonged illness following a liver transplant.
He was 59.

A swollen vocal cord has made it impossible for Toler to speak above a whisper in recent months.
So he has used Facebook to issue a stirring "Note to Family, Friends & Fans:"
"First of all I thank each and every one of you for being such good people and I want all of you to know I love you very much with all my heart and soul," Toler writes.
After acknowledging his friend, fellow local guitarist Larry "Rhino" Reinhardt (Iron Butterfly, Captain Beyond), Toler continues: "We are both fighters and a couple of strong willed men that happen to love playing music for our family, friends and fans. We both have been dealt a tough way out of this life.

"Jesus Christ is going to take care of the both of us and just maybe a cure will come along. Rhino has the liver to deal with and I have been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Neither one of us know how much time we have left but then again this is true with each and every one of us. I know in my heart without God I am doomed. I thank my wife Debby Toler for taking care of me like no other person in this world could. She has been my rock for many many years and I love Debby with all my heart and soul. Thank you Lord for having Debby in my life.

I hope you people come out to Aces on Aug. 13th as there will be some killer picking happening for sure with (performers) like Greg Poulos, Sean Chambers, Tony Tyler, Tucci Band, Matt Facciolla, my band will be there performing, Mike "Louie the Lip" Logan and a possible jam at the end with other fine pickers. Should be fun. Maybe Larry Reinhardt might sit in and pick one with me. Who knows who will show up and play.
I love doing benefits for people that need help and I never ever thought a benefit would have to be held for me. It definetly breaks my heart but I want to thank everyone helping out with this event. Chaz Trippy, Angie and Todd Cook, Tom Mossman, Don Carrington (Mr. Pink Ball) Steve Tucci, Glenn Halverson and I know I am leaving out some names therefore please forgive me.

Hey Stephen. We caught 2 of the CDB shows in 2001, Columbus OH and St Louis. Kris Jensen introduced us to the Band & Crew and the rest is history. Goodtimes!! I still have some very close Friendships from those daze. That was a smokin Band!!!! Peach.
Hey Bro. David, hope you & Pam had a great birthday weekend, & one of those shows you mentioned w/the CDB came up to Manchester NH -- IIRC I think it was 2000, Dickey's first post-ABB tour -- where the show was, in that open lot, is now where the NH Fishercats play
Kevin, big ups for carrying out the wishes of your dear grandma in this tough time -- all the best bro -- & to all -- hope all had a nice summer weekend, now Aug. is here, Wow --
Got the Jerry Blues today. Happy Birthday. Ya left way too soon!

Kevin, I hope you are feeling soothed today by the knowledge that your dear Grandmother is in a better place. We all go there; it's just a matter of time. Remember the good times and move on.
Hey Nic and Pam, I don't think we've ever met but I sure hope to someday. You are an inspiration to many.
Yes, Rainy Mama, I'm being good. Have a bad backache from the beach - lying on the blanket is not good, chair is not good. Learning to live with it. Learning to live with all adversity and appreciating all the good things I have.
And there are many. Have a blue sky day.
I am sorry to read about your Grandmother Kevin. You all are in my Thoughts and Prayers. Thanks for being such a Good Friend Brother. Peach.
