Well Jim, I met with a patent atty yesterday regarding a design patent I hope to obtain. First step as you well know is a search, which they will be doing. I was sitting there thinking, and dreamng, if this thing were to take off. Oh well such is the dream. I was laughing to hear that the Obama group has signed something that allows government agencies such as the patent office to increase their fees. Oh well, stifle the American dream just a tiny bit more. Anyways, I hope this idea makes it through the patent process. We shall see.

Hi Kitty!!! We are having a good day here. I needed a good day. We have been on dial-up internet here for over 12 years. I called a company that has transmitters on water towers and the closest is 26 miles. They use some kind of microwave signal. We received a voice mail last week indicating we could not get the signal due to our trees. A guys stopped by today and said he had surveyed the wrong house. He stated we are getting a signal and will be able to purchase the service. Yeah!!!! About a half hour later Pam received a call from a Family Friend offering us 2 tickets to The Ohio State Buckeyes game saturday against Colorado in Columbus. We just picked up the tickets and the Friend would not accept payment. A very nice gesture. Sarah and I are going!!!!! Go BUCKEYES!!! I did take a moment to Thank God for the good fortune bestowed upon us today. Like I said earlier, It Is A Good Day To Be Alive!!! I am going to The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University tomorrow to finaize my chemo plans. Peach.

Hi Rainy, I've been around, but I guess I didn't have anything going on to post about. We are all doing fine. Grandson Devin started kindergarten, which was our biggest excitment. Also, I saw Steely Dan at the Beacon last week, and really enjoyed that. They put on a great show! Otherwise, things are quiet, and that's just the way I like it! Hope everyone is doing well. Mitch

Jim, I don't mean this as one upsmanship because I'm certain your bloodlines are bluer and your connections richer than mine (at least I hope so...lol), but in my dining room I have a portrait of Isaac Lenoire and it's noted on the back of the picture that he was in the first graduating class at what was to become USC. Think he's my great great great grandfather. Rainy, you should definitely see Country Strong. I thought it was a fine movie and the music is excellent - particulary Garrett Hedlund's songs, but the rest was terrific also. Gwyneth Paltrow is marvelous in her role.
