Hey, Jim, thanks for posting that picture of the President of South Carolina. I'm stranded up here in Maryland & don't know if I'm gonna make it back in time for the game. Navy scares the begezus out of me, though, but I bleeve the Gamecocks will be 3-0 and rising again in the polls once all is said and done. Have a great week end everybody!

I'm on a crazy mood right now. The last 24 hours have been a blur. My daughter called at 6:30 yesterday morning and had been having severe abdominal pains and had spent the night in the ER at Anne Arundel Hospital in Annapolis. They discovered she had a large ovarian cyst but released her and she spent yesterday in the infirmary at the Naval Academy. She texted me yesterday afternoon that she was going back to the hospital because she was still racked with pain and getting worse. So my wife and I dropped everything and drove all night to Bethesda, MD, because they sent her to Walter Reed. She has surgery this morning and a cyst the size of a large grapefruit was removed - benign, thank God - and they were able to do the whole thing arthroscopicly. Actually her other ovary also had a cyst but it wasn't as consequential. They think her fertility will not be affected and she'll probably even return to the Academy tomorrow. Neither my wife or I have had any sleep since Wednesday night so we're both punch drunk, but we PriceLined a room and got the Hyatt Regency Bethesda for $50 tonight, so we got a little ....ahem....lucky. :alienglow:

Mr Ghandi, you should refrain from posting obscene and licentious materials on the Guest Book. Those two cats lying stark naked on the bed, obviously in the afterglo of some lascivious interlude, are an affront to anyone who allows their kittens to view the Guest Book. Shame on you! The only thing that could be worse is if one of the cats were smoking a cigarette.

They...or I should say "he" or "she" with the many online names, has now stooped so low as to posting their spam garbage in a thread devoted to the memory of brother Red Dog. Enough is enough, can someone from Admin. please step in and clean up this mess? Hello...anybody???:bash::cop:

Check in. It's a good thing my garden is pretty self sufficient. No impatience went in and neither will any mums. Can't bend over for that long. Moon is a happy kitty today. Meds are working for now. Gonna enjoy him for as long as God sees fit that he stays around. And, when he's gone, I'll cry my eyes out, but I'll get over it. Anyone else here think vets (nothing personal) charge outrageous prices? The last sonogram I had cost hundreds of dollars less than the one Moon had! Couldn't go further with a biopsy to see what is really wrong - 800 smackeroos that I don't have. Didn't want to put him through surgery, either. Got out the down comforter last night. Yummmy. Don't scratch, Rainy, I'm watching you!

 a super weekend is ahead for everybody -- (((Kitty))) thinking of you -- that app't should be helpful -- letting the body recover itself w/aid from meds, not other way around -- they're saying that Brandt's elbow will recover Fully I hope -- thinking of him too, know the kids are right there for you (((Rainy))) -- don't itch it if you can possibly help it (not that you haven't been told that already  ) -- PI sucks a friendly shoutout to to the adm., the spam is indeed getting out of control on the boards :naughty:

Sorry Rainy....that is uncomfortable. Oatmeal baths help. Benedryl also but you know the grog thang afterwards. Be glad you did not burn it and inhale the smoke. I did that once and the reaction was pretty bad.

And he said... "The first song I learned was Going Down the Road Feeling Bad, which we still play to this day. In first grade I'd entertain my class. I'd even play on Talent Day - always scared the hell out of me! - Still does!" -- Dickey Betts

Hey, Voador, they've forgotten how to make great sounding stereo recordings like that, haven't they? Technology ain't everything.

Had something strange happen to my laptop while on the blackstrat website so be careful if you visit. I ran a scan and my puter was clean, but better to be safe than sorry. Regardless, thanks for the link, Mike. Rajo, glad to hear you're feeling better and Lizzie, hope Moon will be ok. Rainy, where are you today?

40 years ago tonite, John DuBois set up his reel to reel in the Warehouse to capture what would turn out to be the Allman Brothers' final concert w/ all founding members under the rafters. Read how after 25 years one of the best concerts ever at the Warehouse came to light. http://www.facebook.com/l/tAQDARPXPAQAayzXDYG7LknjuKcnvwysBhgzvXiL4ulQCPw/www.blackstrat.net/ http://www.blackstrat.net/ www.blackstrat.net
