October is a rough month 'round here, but never forget all that great music those who we have lost gave us!

- Hey Dickey, I'd buy "The Collectors #2"... I'm just sayin'
Be well brother.
You said it all... Regardless of what Dickey is doing, has done, whether it is true, 1/2 true, fantasty, good or bad, it doesn't and shouldn't take away from the music he has created and the joy he has given to the listener and fan. On that alone, the guy should be respected and treated w/ respect on an ABB site and even more so on the DB site.
Back at 'cha Mr. King.
LMAO, at the PM I just received. Such language from a "lady".
The plot thickens. I was PM'd from someone a couple of weeks ago that our Amy Regan was the musician Amy Regan. I openly asked her in the guestbook in which she denied that she was the musician Amy Regan.
I received another PM from somebody entirely different today after they read my previous post. Any way, this person said that she is the musician Amy Regan.
Why did you have to lie Amy? Are you afraid your big mouth is going to affect your musical career? Instant karma is gonna get 'cha .
Good stuff and thank you to BDOB and Brother Nic. Also a BIG amen to what Brother Tyler, Dream Lady, and Mr. King have said.
Good morning to the V man and Rainygirl:waving:.
:freaked: Dayuuum Bird man. That's one black hearted woman. Don't know which is worse, the head she was going after or pulling a Lorenna Bobbit:shudder:. I'm pretty sure I read a couple of months ago that another woman pulled a Lorenna.
:wall:Amy Amy Amy. This is/was a peaceful site until you or someone like you comes around. Why shouldn't she share your shanninigans with everyone? You should be exposed for the stirrer you are. Lord knows you have PM'd darn near everyone on this site.
After going about 20 rounds/PM's w/ Amy over the past 2 days, it appears that Amy is married to someone in the click or has some kind of history in some way w/ the ABB. She wouldn't get anymore descriptive than that.
Personally, I don't care if she is married to Gregg, Butch or whoever. When you come to an artists website and make negative, unneccessary comments(whether they are true or what you think to be true)about him/her and their fanbase, you set yourself up for failure.
I read a good post by gapeach69/marci I think is her name? on the ABB guestbook. Now she get's it. You don't Amy. Hopefully one day you will. Until then you and others like you will continue stir up the hornets nest.
Rainygirl.....PM headed your way.
Hey BigDave,
You will be great as GABBa President, your heart is good, and that is why you will always do what is best for everyone. Glad to hear you have achieved this position.
Mitch
Hey folks. Thanks for the GABBA props. This being my first year as pres., I just want to say that I don't do any of this alone. I have a wonderful board of directors. I still rely on past pres., Greg Potter, for guidance and support. DDT was the first suggestion as this year's benefactor and it was pretty much a no brainer. We love DDT and enjoyed having him in Macon at GABBAfest 2010. He is a prince of a guy. It's our hope that our contribution, combined with those from the upcoming benefit, will bring Dan some relief and comfort. Dan's faith inspires me, personally. Again, thanks for all the kinds words about GABBA.
Hey brother Nic...You are already full-filling Gods plan without even helping DDT. Your kindness and generosity to many of the folks here is a testament to your work. You are one of the finest brothers there is and breath of fresh air to this site with your continued positive attitude despite the health issues that were delt to you. The world needs more brothers like yourself.
I encourage everyone who can make it down to the benefit to go as well. Being a muscian myself very few of these cats are rich. That is the price maybe we pay for doing something that we love. I can't make the benefit, but I'm gonna find other ways to help a brother in need.
God bless DDT and all the fine folks here...there are many...
.
Oh yeah, big hoorah for Big Dave's leadership at GABBA. He is turning this beautiful organization into an active charity that sends money to great causes, music to the masses and recognition to the people that go out of their way to contribute to our family.
I would expect nothing less from Dave but I just want to state in public that his leadership has taken GABBA to a new level. Thank you, big brother.
Good morning all. It's been a few days since I checked in - lots of doctor's appointments and doing what I can do to get my knee and back healed (as best as the medical community can do).
Got another not so nasty PM from youknowwho. It seems as if everyone here, all my friends, are taking "her" comments with a grain of salt. At first, the nastiness was a royal pain in the arse; now, it's just BS. Playing the victim is a game that people with certain illnesses play. I am no longer going to play that game. Waste of time and there are not enough hours in the day to waste a minute on negativity.
Love to my friends today and everyday.
I want to echo Steve's comments and encourage folks to come out to the DDT benefit. It doesn't bother me to ask for help for Danny either. As many of you know I have been in the fight of my life with cancer. Pam and I made non-refundable plane tickets and rental car back in mid September. This was done before I knew if I would be in cancer treatments again and at that time we thought I would be back in treatments. That way we were committted to going. God has a way of making things work out as I do not go back until early December for my next Dr visit. Danny helped me find God through Jesus Christ. Danny told me God has a plan for me and maybe this is it, to help my Friend Danny Toler.
My sister Stephanie who lives in Tampa is joining us for the event. That will give many of you a chance to meet her if you come to the event. There are several Great bands performing including DB&GS on Saturday and Blackhawk on Sunday. I look forward to seeing my Friends from DB&GS as well as Henry Paul once again.
Pam and I were just talking the other day about all the wonderful things Danny has done for us over the years. That is why we are going to show our support and Love for Danny. I can tell you all a few things about how it feels to receive support in the midst of a battle like Danny is in. I look forward to visiting with several Brothers and Sisters from this site as well as the ABB site. If you are on the fence about coming please think it over and attempt to come. Brothers and Sisters helping a Brother in need. If you are not able to come please consider a donation. Any amount helps!!!! It is very cool that GABBA made a donation!!!
OK, thanks for your time. I Love you all and thanks for all the Goodtimes and Love you have showed Pam and I. Peach.

This was posted on the ABB site:
Some info from Steve via Danny Toler.
OK Everyone!! This is Steve Fayette, a friend of Dan's. I have taken over his FB so I can start pushing Dan's benefit. As we all know Dan is a very humble man, the last thing he wants to do is to continue to ask for everyone to come out and support the benefit over and over. That is where I come in. I don't mind. We need everyone to buy tickets, we need sponsors for the programs. There will be t-shirts. This is the real deal. We want to make this benefit HUGE for Dan. He needs our help. Please visit http://www.dantolerbenefit.myevent.com/ You can do everything right from that site. Please share and share again. Any questions hit me up or the event organizers Blessings to all!!
Thanks to Dave and the GABBA committee for their great generosity. : )
Hi Larry :waving: 🙂
Disappointed bout Fly South in Macon. Don't mind giving donation to Ocmulgee Trail but no desire to go now. News says the problem was goofed up scheduling. Well would be nice if schedulers who messed up would find a replacement for Dickey but this short notice bout slim to none to find a great act like Dickey Betts to step in. Sad the trail will lose out. Don't understand the entire month of November off the calendar, sounds like a major mistake. Dickey, just please find time for Macon soon as you can cause lot of disappointed folks whose hearts will forever be tied to your music. Looks like the quality control went on vacation. Even though we are all human, a professional talent as you deserves better.
Amy, you simply LOVE to chew on a bone darling.
Pushing those buttons is pretty easy with you :).
AL is and always has been a reference to your writing style. Where did you learn to write like a man? Its actually a valid question, regardless.
Tenn, my all time favorite movie is The Quiet Man.
So did y'all see the news a couple of days ago where the lady took a power saw to the sleeping husband? Wanted to cut his head off, but luckily only got shoulder before he woke up. So, first, Thank God the chap survived. Second, he should be glad he was a carpenter and not a welder.
Just thought I'd lighten things up here, wheee 🙂 also thought it thematically fit in on the GB 🙂
:lol:Actually, for once.........I wasn't poking fun at you.
Who was that spunky red head that used to always play in John Wayne movies? Maureen O'hara.....yeah that's it. She was a ball of fire too.
AL, baby, but you already DID respond.
I happen to think short red hair is cute (I had a crush on Ann Margret for pete's sake :)), and, a spunky lass is cool also. SO, 2 potential compliments, and yet you refer to them as "rude". Tsk, just cannot see the forest for the trees, dear.
Lighten up, AL. Its not the world against Amy, as much as that appears to crank your tractor.
