Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton is the leading trauma center is the greater Dayton area. The baby was delivered by C-Section within 30 seconds of Kristie hitting the door from the chopper. 45 care professional particpated. The staff said it was the most ever working on a victim because of the urgency to get the baby. The baby is doing fairly well in NICU with a dedicated Dr to only her. They will begin bringing her back up to temperature this evening. I have a real good feeling about the baby. Pam is down there now and I will let you all know how things progress. Thank God for the Health Care Providers. Thanks to all of you for the continued support. When the accident happened our Pastor was out of town. I turned to my Brother Danny Toler to lead the Prayer. I am forever in his debt. Praise The Lord!!!! Peach.

My clinical friends here will be the first to say this situation with Nic's family is a miracle. I know all here are praying for this family. Wow. The last place you want to deliver a baby is the ED. That means the trauma team has 2 patients, not just one. The care teams(s) caring for these precious ones are needing their own prayers and support also. Think about them as well. I sincerely hope we continue to hear from the family that improvements are happening with each hour, with each day. Prayer works! I've seen true healing when hope was lost.

I just stopped by to thank all of you for the post, text, phone calls and Prayers we have received. All I can tell you is the baby was delivered in the emergency room and doing pretty well. She had low oxygen content in the ambilical cord and they had to cool her down to about 92 degrees. The baby was taken off of the ventelator last night and we have not heard anything since. Krisitie is in critical condition but stable. They had to open her chest to massage her heart after the baby's birth to keep here alive. I think she is improving so slightly. They did not think she would make it through the first night but she did!!! Braydon is in Childrens Hospital with head and adomenal ijuries. He had part of his colon and small intestine removed but is stable. Also severe lacerations to his scalp. He is the one I am most concerned about. He is such a nice polite young man and this is breaking my heart. Thanks to all of you for the Prayers you have sent. Pam is leaving now for the hospital and I am watching Avery. Pam has been a pillar of strength through this whole ordeal. Please continue to Pray as Prayer is a powerful thing!!!!! We Love you all. Peach. Nic & Pam

Thank you everyone for your good wishes. It doesn't seem as if it's Moonie's time yet; he is one resilient kitty. I have to up his meds (up, predinisone) but although they have their side effects, they have kept him going for two years now. Jim, I hope your birthday was as good as it could possibly have been. I wish I could have personally delivered a cupcake! My personal travails lighten each day as time passes between an incident of domestic violence and today. The fear is less. I am stronger. Today I sign a new contract with a new realtor who I believe is a gift from God (sounds a little extreme but you'd have to hear the story to understand). Hope my dizziness and nausea go away so I can clean this place when it's time to start showing it again. My love to Nic and Pam and their family. You guys are such an inspiration. It is said God only hands us what we can handle - we must be pretty damn strong - you two are off the charts. I love you all. Have a great day.
