I heard that Bro. Get on out there and reel another one in Mr. King, and enjoy the seafood supper as well.
:nono: I'm still shaking my head at what went down in Miami. Gotta rank right up there as one of the most screwed up things I've ever read or heard about.
Given the fact, right or wrong, that I have experimented with a lot of different party materials in my life, the thought of chewing and eating another persons face off or ripping out my intestines and throwing them at the cops kinda leads me to believe that the bath salts are not the way to go for a groovy time. So for once, I think I'll pass on new party material experimentation.
It is an extremely sad and horrific event, thats for sure. Didn't mean to make light of it or a joke out of it because it is an extremely sad thing. I was just kinda putting it out there to see if the rest of you cats had heard about that crazy stuff.
Kev, you are so funny. You actually think it's crazy for someone to eat someone else's face like a wolf with rabies? They're just getting high. Why should you concern yourself with behavior between consenting adults? They were just having fun. Sheesh, you're so prudish, man. Get with the times, will ya? You need to snort some bath salts. Don't knock it til you've tried it!
 Hope everyone is doing alright and has a good weekend.
:freaked: Stay away from the bath salts. Crazy freakin' stuff goin' on in the world these days.
Al, please forgive my ignorance. My wife has a Nook but I'm still reading regular ol' books. Can I download your book to my laptop and read it on there?
I am pleased to announce a second edition of One Way Out: An Oral History of the Allman Brothers Band.

This fixes formatting problems and adds:
•A discography, with my opinion of over 50 albums - ABB, GA, DB, Mule, Trucks, etc.
•Essential Southern Rock albums
•Greatly expanded coverage of mid 90s, including Shades, BWIAB, both live albums...
•A short section covering Beacon 40th run to today.
•An ABB-themed excerpt of Big in China.
It is my understanding that anyone who has downloaded the book will be able to re-download for free. I will do my best to be on top of Amazon on that front. I want you all to have this version.
Good Morning all here! It's a beautiful day in NY and getting ready to head up to Warren Haynes Mountain Jam for 4 days...Steve Winwood, Derek and Susan Trucks and 60 bands up on Hunter Mtn. Ahhhhh man BBR............you gotta hit it Bro. A bunch of us from both sites hit the Dangerous Dan benefit a couple of months ago and Jimmy Hall and Drippin' Wet were the last to play that night. It was so phat and funky, I'm sure they had to hose down the Cox Capitol Theatre to get the stank outta that place.
I'll never miss them if they ever come anywhere close. You gotta hit it man and boogie down for the rest of us.
Hello gang...been a while since my last post...hope this finds everyone well.
Has anyone seen Wet Willie Lately? Or Jimmy Hall ? They are playing the Oyster Festival here Saturday and was just wondering...

My sincere appreciation for all our service men and women who have given all so that freedom and liberty remain our strength. I am proud of my son's heroic actions in Afganistan and his accomplishments in Special Forces.
No Neil,I knew it wasn't you but I did notice he was from the same area in Canada as you. He hasn't responded yet and I wonder if it was a joke!
peachmaniac...hope you didn't think it was me:boomerang::looney:
To all my fellow vets(women & men) here's a toast !!!
Yeah it is too damn funny!!! Gregg Almond? The guy was really poking fun at gregg. Also there is a funny(good) story about moogis and Bobby Weir's venture. I would beleive Bobby has a little more brains on his venture tha claude ever had.
This guy from Canada writes a letter to Gregg on the ABB guest book about what an inspiration his songs have been and goes on to say that he is going to record 2 of them on a CD for his kids. The 2 songs: In Memory of Elizabeth Reed and Seven Turns! You can bet that I sent him a PM with the facts!!!
