This all could have been averted, lives saved, injuries prevented by having persons carrying in that venue.
Gun control has never worked, anywhere in the world. Repeal all the gun laws, allow people to carry everywhere and watch the crime go to almost zero.
Great Gig last night at the Hirsch in Nuremberg.
Dickey, Duane and gang really painted the venue.
BTW: Dickey, you are looking way more healthy and fit than a few years ago.

Been super busy the past couple weeks with gigs and a much needed mini vacation last week!
I wanted to share that picture below of my band playing this past Friday! My son Derek was up on stage too! So proud of my boy!!! It's hard to believe he is only 2 1/2 yrs old!!!

When I reread my post, it seems like it might be offensive to people who voiced their opinions. I do read other people's opinions with interest and I do care what other people think. I just don't think that people with political power care about what we think. So, particularly to Mitch but also to anyone else I may have offended, I apologize if my prior words seemed to marginalize the value of your opinion.
🙁 Don't really know what to add either. Nut jobs will always find a way to get guns or something to accomplish their f*cked up agendas.
My heart goes out to Mr. King and any victims, their families and loved ones when something like this happens.

I have nothing to add to the gun control discussion or any political discussion because that crap doesn't matter. It's great if any of you think it matters what you think but unfortunately I have come to the conclusion that we are all just a bunch of noisy powerless clowns. In the few moments that the people in politics even bother to think about us, it's only to laugh. I'm merely serving out my time before I go to a better existence where the politicos will be the ones who not only don't matter - they'll be somewhere else where I sure wouldn't want to be and I'm not so sure it isn't pretty close to what we're in right now. I try not to give advice, but I guarantee I am happy there's a Savior for me! Hallelujah!!! AMEN!!!

Gun control laws won't prevent all murders....but would prevent some.
I believe in the 2nd amendment , but also believe that the gov't has the right and need to say no to some people.
I say this as a man who enjoys going to the Nassau County municipal range with my son, and shooting. I am not anti gun, nor a member of there NRA.

with all due respect, just like the claim that cutting taxes will result in job creation, before making a claim like that, it'd be a good bit more credible if it was explained why it is that in other places where access to guns is more restrictive, the result is fewer gun crimes.
I'm not interested in persisting in political discussions here, but every time a belief unsupported by reality is made, it's difficult to resist.

Greeting to all my friends from this anxous, neurotic but wildly enthusiastic dickhead.
Southbound mama - when all 4 lawyers, the creepy management agent and the lovely young Chinese lady who is moving into my home. She just loves it here and that's is just what I was hoping for.
There was a lot of strife as well as good times in this home of mine for 23 years and it will be hard to say goodbye but I am moving on to a new life and new dreams.
