The JFD comemorative shirts are beung produced as we discuss...should be ready 10/3-5. Will ship asap as orders come in. folks, we do this every year, now into the 37th year, to honor Duane. That's it. All proceeds go to the expense of the event and enable us to continue. The music and legacy of Duane Allman deserves to be promoted and people enlightened to what he accomplished in the short time he was with us. We can all 'jam for Duane' and honor this great guitarist together. Your love and support is appreciated.

Wayne, thanks for the shocking bad news. That is a worse scenario than I think anyone could have made up. Nothing weirder than real life.

Brian Wilson Fired While Tour Is Ongoing The Beach Boys were excited to be together again when they reunited for this year’s Grammy Awards for a 50th anniversary celebration, but that hasn’t stopped controlling member Mike Love from giving Brian Wilson the axe, along with Al Jardine and David Marks. After sharing a stage again for an anniversary tour, Love announced he would be continuing the shows without his bandmates, and would instead play with Bruce Johnson and a backup band, which is rumored to include longtime Beach Boys friend John Stamos. “The post-50th anniversary configuration will not include Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and David Marks. The 50th Reunion Tour was designed to be a set tour with a beginning and an end to mark a special 50-year milestone for the band,” read a statement issued by Love. The Boys have had their share of spats, drama, and addiction since forming half a century ago, but fans are shocked at the blatant disregard for sheer history and loyalty as founding members are forced out of their own show. “I’m disappointed and can’t understand why he (Love) doesn’t want to tour with Al, David and me. We are out here having so much fun. After all, we are the real Beach Boys,” Wilson said. Sadly, the tour with Wilson, Jardine and Marks is still ongoing, meaning that if the hard feelings can’t be overcome, London will be in for a strange set.

Hi to my Brothers and Sisters Of The Road. Please check you PM's Brent. I was suppose to begin round 4 of chemo tuesday but had to reschedule until next week. I had an infection crop up and that put things on hold. I do appreciate all the support we have received. Our Grandson Myles is going to Minot AFB in North Dakota in March after tech school. Brrrr..... He is an avid outdoorsman and I am sure he will enjoy it. We told him not to buy a truck until he gets there as the vehicle will need special features to start in the cold weather. We are very proud of him!!! Keep Em flyin Myles!!!!! Please keep Pam Stoltz and Brother Dave in your Thoughts and Prayers. Prayer is a powerful thing. Peach.

Hello all, I would love a couple of those shirts! Please forgive me for not being able to attend as these are my working years and I must plan my time in the spring. This just in...Mike Love has chosen to embark on another Beach Boys tour without Brian Wilson, who wrote, arranged, and led the band to the ears of the listeners. People overcome obstacles. Especially obstacales of the rock and roll lifestyle. Brian, like our hero, shall survive. Looking forward to new tour dates, maybe South Of the Mason Dixon Line! Alchemy and The Wheel in Nov is my "Beacon Week". Love to all!

Well, all you cats were right. The TTB knocked my freakin' socks off last night. I was highly impressed w/ their brand of kung fu. Great blend of jazz, blues and knock you the f*ck out rock and roll. Just fantastic musicianship all the way around. Found me a spot up top by the sound and light guys to get my boogie on. Very much a sit down crowd last night. Talked to several folks on the way out and everyone came away impressed. If ya get a chance to check 'um out, definitely do so.

Enjoying Hell on Wheels and love the Justified shows. The Into the West series is good too. Wouldnt it be cool to have a Southern music drama series show about bands ?

Anyone else here into the AMC show, Hell On Wheels? It is the most authentic western I have ever seen plus the story telling, casting, and performances are stellar. In short, it is an excellent show. If you want to start it, I'd recommend Netflix to see season 1 as this show is one giant continuous story. There are now only two episodes of season two remaining.
