Navy Wins!!! :cool:, Northwestern loses and LSU looking sharky. Peach.
Hey Now!!! It is football saturday. Hey Kev, Ohio State cannot win the Big Ten or compete in a bowl game because some of the players traded memorbillia fo for tattoes. Coach Tressell failed to self-report to the NCAA and we were banned from post-season play this year. Our final penalty was we gained Urban Meyer as a head coach.
Rules are rules and we must stand up and take our punishment. Go BUCKS!!!!!
So with that said I still must rout for the Big Ten. Northwestern is looking pretty good for us this year. Unfortunately Ohio State does not play them. Aside from the Big Ten, I must say though I am soft on USC (South Carolina) and am wishing them all the best. I just flat out Love college football!!!!! We have Nebraska in a rare night game here in Columbus tonight.
I am wishing for safe travels and goodtimes to all going to the Jam For Duane tonight. It is a great thing you all do to keep the Music of Duane Allman alive.
I am keeping Forrest Sibley as well as all our Servicemen, Servicewomen and their Families in my Thoughts and Prayers. May God watch over them and bring all our troops home safely. Peach.

😆 Not my idea of a friendly wager. But I'll tell you what I just might do. I'm pretty confident..........granted not 10 years worth of concert tickets confident, but if your Gamecocks win these next three games, I might just buy you one concert ticket for the heck of it. Not Placido at the Met, but one in Charlotte that some of the DB family will be hittin'. Dickey or someone else thats good is bound hit Charlotte one of these days.

Interesting news I just read on ratdog.org about TTB and Oteil.
A statement from Oteil Burbridge on his departure from Tedeschi Trucks Band:
"After 25 years of intensive touring, I have come to the very difficult decision that I must cut my yearly tour schedule back and will not be able to continue to tour with TTB. This much needed break from heavy touring will allow me to recoup, recharge and address my main priority in life right now, which is to start a family. I have deep love and respect for every member of this band and the music that we have made together, and I'm proud of our many accomplishments over the last three years. I certainly hope that we have music left to make together in the future."
Tedeschi Trucks Band's statement on Oteil:
"We are sad to see our brother Oteil leave TTB but we want what is best for every member of our family, and we respect Oteil's decision to make a change. We've had many amazing shows and sessions with him over the years, documented by two albums we're very proud of. We wish Oteil the best and look forward to the next time we can share the stage.
We have reached out to our extended family of musicians and confirmed three great bass players for the fall. Ted Pecchio will play on the shows Oct 18 - 20. Dave Monsey Oct 27 - Nov 3. And George Porter Jr Nov 27 - Dec 2."

I will buy your ticket if we loseone of the next three games but if we win all three you will buy me concert tickets to any and all events I want to attend for the next ten years. Well...looking forward to a nice 3 day weekend. Some of you may have met my friends Ken and Cathy, (part of the L.I. Crew). Their daughter gets married tomorrow, and it will be a splendid time indeed. Marie was asked to do a reading at the wedding.
My daughter is coming in from Boston , so we are having a bit of a family reunion as well.

The OSU Buckeyes host Nebraska tomorrow eveing at 8:00 PM in the shoe. A night game is a rarity for us. Nebraska is a good team with a great Junior QB. We must play better!!!! Go BUCKEYES!!!!! 😎

I heard that Mr. King. Them Gamecocks have got a darn good team this year, thats for sure and there is always hope, no doubt about that.
Everyone I have talked to that is heavily into college football........my older brother and friends at work......do not think they can win all three. It would be impressive and anything is possible, but the odds are against them. Best of luck to them though. If they pull it out they certainly deserve to be in the National Championship game, thats for sure.
....I wonder if Putz is an only child, or, maybe he was the litter runt. Or the one that was on the tet just a little too long :).
....or, perhaps Daddy can finally get well deserved rest from same. Me thinks pops is WELL aware.
It's probably a good thing that Prine's father is not dead because if he were he would be rolling over in his grave over the actions of his son! I hope he had more then one child and that those children are normal!
