Going to see Gregg tonight in Augusta, should be a good one! Jaimoe's Jazz Band is opening for him, I heard they have been jamming together at the end of the night, looking forward to that. If you have not heard Jaimoe's cd, you should give it a listen, man is it good! Bluedad and Big Dave will be in the house tonight too.

Hey Hi Mitch and I know what you mean about a Long Island wedding..Oh my... although I am not familiar with the drum thingy you spoke about.. but, my next L.I. wedding is Nov 3.. so I'll let you know if it is happening there
And in answer to the question about what it felt like when you heard the music that touched your heart.. I can't explain it..it is a feeling and I got it from the ABB / DB.. I do get the feeling alot in regards to music.. it's, it's own language.. and only your heart can understand it, Thank goodness my heart does.
I do enjoy reading all posts on the GB.. keep 'em going ..about whatever is on our minds..
one eye open

I always thought of the Guestbook as a place to discuss music, but also open to anything we believe is relevant and timely.
"The Whipping Post" was developed in order to take controversial topics away from the otherwise pleasant GB; so we could keep it light and cheery here.
Otherwise, I am happy to discuss anything on the GB. I do wish disagreements would go to the WP though.
Example of a non musical thread:I went to a wedding this past weekend.
There is not much that rivals a Long Island wedding for a good time, and this was no exception. We had a great time with about 125 of our "closest friends". I know the brides parents for about 44 years, and feel as close as any blood relative could.
Now my old body on the otherhand is still recovering, but it was well worth it.
Interestingly, the DJ had a Latin drum set up, and he played along with some of the songs. I liked it, but wouldn't have missed it if the drums were not there. I hear this trend is popular....anyone else seen this kind of set-up?
