Fun time at the show last night. Dickey and the Band sounded great! The showroom was full. It was only 2 hours which is way too short for my likings. Duane's Liz Reed solo was fantastic. Andy was rock solid as always as were James and Frankie. Pedro was awesome and Kach is just an amazing player! Dickey was having a great time and can still Bring It!! No set list surprises except the 1 st tune. I have no clue what is was?? There was a strange twist to Blue Sky. The Franklin's intro was extended and really sweet. The transition into Blue Sky was okay then Dickey sang the first verse and then when right to the very last verse and the band looking a little stunned followed him there and that was it. A 2 minute blue Sky! Oh well. I have seen plenty of my favorite musicians screw up lyrics etc. maybe a senior moment. I know I have them! Dickey played his butt off and I am very grateful he is back on the road!

Thanks so much to my Brother Rajo for the package you sent us. It was cool of you to think of us. You are a True Brother. I will give it a listen soon.
We had a good day at OSU yesterday and will return next Wednesday. We will stay there until Friday and begin the treatments on Thursday. I will then return on mondays and leave on Fridays for four more weeks. All the Drs, Nurses and all the health care providers are so Kind to us. I am overwhelmed by all the Kindness being extended to us by so many.
Pam is heading to Illinois this weekend for her Family Christmas. I have decided it is to far for me to travel and will stay home. My old boss is coming up to visit and bringing a pizza to watch some football saturday. I do so much look forward to the visit from John this weekend.
Avery Jo is here and we are having way to much fun. She will be one year old on Jan 31. She beginning to stand up on her own and soon will be walking. Children are such a gift!!!! We are fortunate to be able to have her here so much!!! Peach.

the band is back . playin 20 mins from my house. if you are thinking about goin to the Collingswood NJ show stop thinking now. ya gotta go check this place out. its a great sounding venue. easy to get to from a few bridges that connect Pa to Jersey. 2 hours outta NY. a few good places to eat in the area. a good sports bar. anyone wanna meet up if their goin let me know

Yep, safe travels to DB&GS -- travel/weather conditions, as I'm sure Dickey & the roadies have scoped out, are good -- less so the stages as the band lets off some steam in its first gigs in awhile -- rock on DB&GS, & happy motoring to all! :guitar:
