Dan Toler Memorial Service Set for March 9A memorial service for former Allman Brothers Band guitarist
“Dangerous” Dan Toler will take place on March 9.
Toler died on March 25 after a long struggle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The memorial will take place at Sarasota, FL’s Faith Presbyterian Church at 1PM.
Though many of Toler’s friends are expected to speak, the public event will not include live music. Gregg Allman recently reflected on Toler’s passing on Relix.com.

Tyler, that's a beautiful tribute. Thanks for posting it.
As sad as we all are to be losing our brothers, we've still got to remember that neither Dan or Nic cowered. They've greeted their fates with smiles of victory and triumph.
I'm pretty sure neither of them would want us to be glum because of their conditions. They both probably are more concerned that we will live lives of happiness and fulfillment.
Hope each of us here finds the same peace of mind and spirit that Nic and Dan have exemplified in their outward courage, kindness, and good cheer in the face of suffering and certain death. We are all just a step or two behind them.

Sounds like the "little drummer boy" is odd man out nowadays.
Oh yeah, last nite this young lady came up to us after the show outside and says to Warren, My Dad is on the phone, would you please say hi to him?" Warren then takes the phone and says Hi Sir and the Dad wished him a great run in NYC...the girl was freaking and OMG stuff and it was the coolest thing...so down to earth and a real man, a good man...
I am now burning some rope and watching Battleship on HBO, I am at the part where all the world's battleships are destroyed by aliens, and the few left bond with veterans and start up the Missouri Battleship to take on the aliens and buy the Earth another day...
