Over Represented is Good when it involves a BETTS
:clapping:
"How does the content of the new book differ from your online one which I purchased a year or so ago?"
It is 6 times longer.
That was like a very rough draft... most of it is still in there, but I conducted hundreds more interviews with about 50 people.
Also has about 150 photos... most never seen... and some wonderful ones of Dickey... Honestly, going through the final book I realized that DB is probably over-represented photo-wise... I just kept digging the pictures.
"You guys are so good it's RIDICULOUS! That's a jaw dropping slide solo by Andy! Probably one of the best versions of Blue Sky ever right there!"
Well, thank you. Andy is an old, dear friend and having him with us is the best of both worlds - Jamming with an old pal I seee too infrequently and having a brilliant musician raise all of us considerably.
Love the solo...
"Great videos - love the quality!"
Thank you... Always frustrated by having bad videos of great events, so I hired a friend who's a pro to shoot the whole night. we played close to 3 hours.

Don't know if you could hear me, Alan, but I was jamming along with you guys on acoustic guitar on Blue Sky! You guys are so good it's RIDICULOUS! That's a jaw dropping slide solo by Andy! Probably one of the best versions of Blue Sky ever right there!
Dang! Been waiting for you, Rainy! I knew you couldn't stay away too long.
Great videos - love the quality!
To Alan: How does the content of the new book differ from your online one which I purchased a year or so ago?
Thanks guys. I actually posted about this a few weeks ago but for some reason it didn't go up and then my schedule blew up and I have not had a chance to double back.
Another tune with Andy... John Prine's "Great Rain".. can't get this one to embed for some reason...

Some people will test you, some will use you, and some will teach you; but most importantly some will bring out the best in you. Learn to see and accept the differences between these people, and carry on accordingly.
The Cherokee Tale of Two Wolves
One evening, an elderly
Cherokee brave told his
grandson about a battle that
goes on inside people.
He said "my son, the battle is
between two 'wolves' inside us all.
One is evil.
It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow,
regret, greed, arrogance,
self-pity, guilt, resentment,
inferiority, lies, false pride,
superiority, and ego.
The other is good.
It is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity,
truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about
it for a minute and then asked
his grandfather:
"Which wolf wins?..."
The old Cherokee simply replied,
"the one that you feed"
