I also love Sugaree and play that one myself. Here's my favorite version I've heard so far -

Check out this one from Tri Studios. Jackie says he likes singing Sugaree because he can "howl" on it.

Check it out and see what you think, Dan. That Jackie Greene is sort of like a Jerry Garcia kind of guy except he can really sing!

They sound better than the Dead!
Bobby's not doin' too bad of a job, either...out here on our Left Coast.

and Phil's Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael is happening!
Very nice, voador! As always, you are the man! Hey, it's great to see some all too infrequent folks chipping in around here! Thanks and stick around! Don't make yourselves scarce!
Phil Lesh continues to bring great music to the world. He is truly a great one...
If anyone has the opportunity, go see Jackie Greene! You will not be disappointed. He's a fantastic songwriter and musician.
Tonite is Phil Lesh & Friends with Warren Haynes and Jackie Greene at Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Just finished the ABB book by Alan Paul titled" One Way Out " and I must say that I think it's the best ABB book I have ever read.
Who wants to ride north with me this weekend ?
Call in sick, throw caution to the wind, bring lots of money !!!
PARTY IN MILWAUKEE !
:bash:
Gregg said "x" at a Wanee interview.
Go to the ABB Forums, General Chat for that details.
I'd love to hear the ABB power band again: Dickey, Warren and like that.
If that upsets Butchie, France is still an option for him.
Tom :smoke:
Where are you getting this information, Tom? I wish they'd replace Derek with Jack Pearson personally, assuming Dickey is not under consideration. And are you saying that Warren is staying on?
Now Gregg says that The ABB is not breakingup and they are going to replace Derek.
Gregg also has injured his left hand and they brought in Kofi to handle keyboards.
I can suggest a guitar player that would fit right in and carry the band yet again.
I'm just sayin'
Tom :smoke:
Ed, the Band was definitely smokin' that night, weren't they? Outstanding and thank you!
