Hey there folks! I'm still dancing, singing, and groovin' to the awesome show I saw last night in Milwaukee! What a fantastic night! I was a little worried about the band being off a few weeks and then starting back up but I was soon put to ease! Dickey and the gang came out smokin'.
First off, the venue, Northern Lights Theater, is an incredible place to see a band. It is a very intimate room without a bad seat in the house. With that being said, it was a sold out show!
Dickey loves this venue at it showed! He was in great spirits and played his butt off! The whole band sounded great! Dickey had a new sound guy working with them and he did an awesome job.
I know people criticize Dickey for his playing of late but I honestly can say his performance Thursday night was on par with some of the best shows I have seen from him after the split. He was spot on folks! I am so grateful I had the opportunity to see him. I believe this was the second time he has played here and the venue let him play without the 2 hour curfew. They played a good two and a half to two hours 45 min. The crowd loved it!
