No problem! I got the 6 CD set today and I'm heading out the door on a road trip with all the discs copied onto my iPod. Should be some good listening!

That makes sense as I think Dickey's voice sounds younger in the interview than I have heard recently.
I hope I'm mistaken but I think I have heard this interview before and that it's old interviews spliced together to sound like a new interview. I don't think it's a new D & G together interview. Still a good listen, though.

Just a heads up to anyone planning to attend the DB&GS show on Sunday August 3rd. The tour dates listing page has the correct event name but the show is in Situate, MA not Medford, MA. They're not even close to one another. Leon Russell is scheduled to play at 1:45p and Dickey goes on at 4:00p as the festival's closer. The stage is set up on a small side street off of the main drag which is closed to traffic. The small section in front of the stage is reserved for local VIPs and this side street does get crowded so get there early to get a good skanking spot. Thunderstorms are in the forecast but that can't put a damper on the excitement of seeing this RnR Hall of Famer grace us with his iconic songs and masterful guitar playing. Can't wait to see the man in cowboy hat once again.
For those who are interested. The 'Jam for Duane' set for Sept 13th will have a great feature and performers to be announced by weeks end. Gadsden, Al. Details....details...

Well, I have been cutting my portions since changing my diet, but when the opportunity was before me to put that beautiful bovine bounty on a plate right in front of me, I took siege! Tell you the truth, I did that all week and the net result when I returned was a pound lost! Crazy as it seems, eating meat is the way for me to lose weight! The key was not getting that desert. I pass up sugarous foods.
A 24 OZ porterhouse would feed me for a week!

My hat's off to Manny's Chophouse down there around Orlando. I ate a big ol' salad, a football sized sweet potato, and a 24 oz porterhouse steak there last Thursday night with the gusto of a junkyard dog - and would've gotten desert but didn't want to seem like a glutton....ha ha I'm styill smiling. :burger:
