Welcome back, RedDog! It seems remarkable for you to be up and at 'em again so soon after surgery. Congratulations. Just one little favor, I have to ask of you. You seemed to be the good luck charm for the Gamecocks for the Alabama game but I think you forgot about 'em last week, which is perfectly understandable with all you had before you. We had a nightmare occur last weekend that I am still trying to put behind me, but we need the support of our walking four leaf clover - you! We're playing Vandy tomorrow on the road and it shouldn't be a concern but they ruined our season 2 years ago when we went in there 5-0. We Gamecocks are a lowly lot - a giant dysfunctional family of losers who embrace shame and indignation like no other fans. Our football teams regularly teach us new ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Any statement of support from Reddog Campbell has got to help because most Gamecock fans are also huge Allman Bros fans. All kidding aside, I've never met you but you've got to be a great man to have so many people who show so much love and concern for you, so I join with them to wish you a speedy and full recovery and many more years of happiness and fulfillment. Enjoy that breakfast tomorrow. My niece and her husband just moved to a town about 15 minutes from Macon, and I'm looking forward to visiting with them and making a sojourn to Mecca...oops Macon....hopefully eat at the H and see all the sites. Take care!

Rick you are so right about the love. Blue man, Big Daddy on base, and Wayne came everyday and kept my spirits high. The Sweet Ga Lady came with her son, very nice of you love. Made my day. I had great Drs.. Dr. Solares from the GA. School of Medicine, a cancer specialist Along with Dr. Jackson, a female plastic surgeon from same school. Also Drs. Bhatt and Ho from the V A. I liked all these people very much. Had a great relationship with them and made friends. The treat me with up most care. Nurses wee on top of their game. The best I have ever been treated in my life. I must say it did not change when they found out I was Red Dog and worked with the brothers for all the years that I did. They treated everyone the same. Bhatt, and my man Ho came twice a day to check on me. Ho being a classical piano player and guitar player. Dr. Solares wife favorite song is Malaise. So you know I was in good hands. It great to be home and going for a big time breakfast at the H in the morning. Wish I was there right now. To all who sent good wishes, I thank you. Why is JIm Banned? Big time bummer right there. He came to see me but I was out in left field on a trip somewhere. Like me not remembering asking Big Dave to scratch my left eye brow. That is one for the books. Rainyyyyyyyyyyyyy, somebody is in the garden calling surgar. Lady with the K, happy B day sweet heart, hope you had a good one. Dreams Hope you are well and doing good? Oh yes can't forget Jodygirl for sending me a bambo plant. I love it and looked at it everday. Later.

Red Dog.... I know you enjoy baseball and football, so rest easy Brother and enjoy the weekend! Can you believe the folks that have shown the love? Visits, cards, emails, this and that....the rumor is they named you the new CEO. Healing is a process, and you have to heal. So, the more you ambulate and return to normal routine, you improve that process. Auburn over LSU...what do you think??

Morning to all... Rick I am with you on the press, I have been using one for over 10 years, makes that weekend coffee more special. I don't think it makes the coffee stronger only improves on the flavor vs. a drip machine. The only thing that I have found better is the "Clover" press machine... it is basically a reverse process of the french press... Starbucks bought the rights to them a while ago but one of the local roasters here in Columbus has one. It is the smoothest cup of coffee you can buy.

Forgot to say "Hi!" to Rainey! So glad you enjoyed the video. You can feel how much that meant to those troops. God bless our troops and the entertainers who take the time to go over there to fortify their morale.

Good morning to all! Rick, you've gotta have a lot of hair on your chest to be drinking that coffee out of a press. I like my coffee fresh ground and a little bit on the strong side but what you're drinking is POWERFUL STUFF!!! My best friend, an Italian who calls himself the Urban Dego, uses the press and calls me a sissy. I guess I'm the OCD type when it comes to some stuff. I've had the same coffee cup for many many years. It has a Jolly Roger and a bunch of sharks in a blue sea all superimposed on an old timey chart map. If I went on vacation in Hawaii and discovered I had left it behind halfway home I'd have to hijack the plane and force the pilot to turn the plane around. That is some strange news about Ghandi. Apparently he'll need to be very discreet when he comes back. And where's Capn? He is KING around here....with all deference to JK.
