My mothers name was Sarah. A good Southern Name, with religious roots.
I too have a daughter named Sarah(16).I also have a Woody story from 1974,but I'll have to relate it later.
Dan
Jim, I too have been a huge Woody fan since that unfortunate incident where the PHLEGMson player put his jaw in front of Woody's fist. I've never understood why they didn't punish the stupid Tater player instead of good ol' Woody.
Nic, may I assume that Pam and Sarah are your wife and daughter? I have also have a Sarah...21 years old. Ain't it grand to have a little girl?
On behalf of all Gamecocks, I appreciate your support. Don't think too many non-Auburn Tigers will be pulling for Cam because of that absurd NCAA ruling, but I'm glad he's going to play or if the Gods smiled down on the Gamecocks and we somehow managed to win, it would be tainted. I am just so happy we made it to an SEC Championship game and looking ahead, I think our team will be even better next season.
Go Buckeyes!
jj,
capn is here, still has your stuff
pm me
Hey Pintobean it is still snowing here. The roads are now slick and more is on the way. Pam, Sarah and I are headed up to Lake Erie Friday morning for an overnight visit. We are heading north, go figure??
That is some Great stuff you sent me Paulr. Thanks so much!! I sent a package to DDT today.
Go Gamecocks!! This Buckeye is rooting for you all. Give Auburn Hell!!!! Peach.
Nic, if you put that 1 inch of snow down here in South Carolina you have the recipe for disaster. Cars swerve uncontrolably, schools are shut down, and the shelves at all the stores are bare!
Dan, hope you got rid of that awful skunk odor without having to get rid of the dog! Peeeeeeeeyeeeeew! That was a funny story but I'm not too sure I'd have been as good natured as you had it happened to me.
We Sowf Klina Gamecocks are really looking forward to Saturday's SEC Championship game with Auburn. It's all new to us. I never thought it would happen after the Kentucky and Arkansas games. Feel a lot better about it now after beating Florida and PHLEGMson on the road. I think we have a chance - not a great chance, but a chance. I sure hate to see TCU in the National Championship game, though.
Welcome back J.J. ! Nice to see you.
Mitch
I should sign in more often....
:clapping:Chet and Gena :fanfare:
Nic, you are welcome my friend.
Whats up there JJ... Long time :waving:
We've had over 5 inches of rain during the past week and now today we have our first accumulating snow. Probably a little under an inch accumulated. We had more snow than that, but quite a bit melted off this morning. Winter has arrived!!!! Yehaw!! Peach.
Hey Hi everyone,
we are having an autumn rain storm and lots of wind here on L.I. also yesterday we had an earthquake here on L.I that measured 3.9 , I believe it was felt from Plainview area to Montauk point.. I am on the eastern part ... I was getting ready for work and felt this strange figure eight feeling..that was for a few seconds and I realized it was an earthquake... alittle unnerving to say the least... I no likey š
So great to see :dog: Joseph :inlove: stopping in for a visit..
also Keegan :flower2: and Tyler ..great hearing from you..
Hey rajo... keep that snow over there in Germany,.,.,.Yikes... sure is pretty looking at it when your all warm and snuggled inside thou..
Ok off to work . Have a great Wednesday:)
:waving:
Hello fine people, been out on a long journey and now returned. I hoping to get back in touch with some of you guys. I am really looking for Captain. J.J. Petty
:dog: Dreamie is doing fine; thanks for asking.
I have used white wine vinegar for various pet smells (sometimes Moon stands in the box but, despite the cover, manages to pee on the throw rug - he's very talented). Don't know how it would work with a skunk.
Have a great day everybody. Gotta go to work and it's raining cats and dogs!
...had a karaoke evening yesterday.
didn“t want to but was supposed to sing.
Always knew why I learned playing guitar...
Lots of snow here.Bad for driving, but everything`s so peaceful...
Got it Nic and I am looking forward to it!
Glad it worked out Dan. Please don't forget we are supposed to go fishing next spring. I have upgraded the accomodations a little. I hope you can make it. Same for you Tyler!! Peach.
I tried tomato juice first and it didn't work. Talked to a couple amish farmers and they pointed me to vinegar an a spray called "de-skunk" you can only get it from a vet. it worked . In the wonderful Ohio weather and with the beautiful aroma itwas a day to remember.
Nic hope you are fine and cheers Bro! You too Mitch!!!
Hey Now!! Thanks for the Kind words Tyler. I am doing fine. I hope you all are doing well also. I bet Derek is growing like a weed!!
Hey Dan, I have also heard of the tomato juice bath but I have not had to deal with that. Good luck and I am having my first drink also!!
I hope you feel better each day RedDog. I deer hunted yesterday but with all the rain since I can't take the long walk through the muddy fields to get to the woods. Some things I have to accept I can no longer do as I once did. Maybe I will get another chance once the ground freezes. Cold weather is on the way!!!! We desperately needed the rain that we received the past 24 hours and I do appreaciate getting it.
I hope you all have a Safe & Goodtime week. I am going to miss Ohio State football on saturdays now that the Big Ten season is over. Peach.
Hey Mitch! Hope you are doing good as well?
Dan... my mom has had that same problem with a skunk spraying her dog... it has happened twice this year! I think she used tomato juice to get rid of the stink.... last time it happened she was letting the dog out in the middle of the night! :tearhair: Hope the vinegar solved the problem....
Sending ((((((((healing vibes)))))))) to brother Reddog and Nic as always....and anyone else that needs some up-lifting....
Here's for you all to chuckle about..who here has de-skunked a dog? Oh the trial and tribulations of getting rid of that smell. That is what I did all day today..came home from work(morning wife called) and proceeded to try just about anything I could find on the internet. Best thing is wash that dog in vinegar and then go to your local vet and get de-skunk spray. i am burning the cloths I had on as we speak. Now for a little drink!
