Congratulations to my son, Forrest, for his graduating the 2 years+ of training to become a Combat Controller. He is assigned to the 23rd Special Tactics Unit at Hurlbut AFB. Looks like he will deploy in July to Afganistan. Not sure if he will be with a Special Forces team or a SEAL team.
There are only approx. 300 of these highly trained and qualified men in the world. I am very proud of his accomplishment to become one of the best. God bless all of 'em.
End this damn useless war!
 Belated B-day to RickT...Hope you had a good day brother!
I am thankful to be done with school for a few weeks here over Christmas! All this learning has made my head hurt! :looney:
Was listening to ABB's greatest hits yesterday..in particular Ramblin' Man... I wondered how it would have sounded like with brother Duane playing on that tune...Man! That original lineup was sure a hot one! Take care ya'll!
.
I had just about the best birthday an old hippie chick could have. I mentioned you last night Luke to the few friends I had over and told them about your butt slapping wishes.
Now, where's mine? Ouch, OK, thanks.
It was great to talk to you, Rainy, my other half here, the other most beautiful little hippie chick that ever walked this planet (except maybe for Krishna who is a young woman whose hippie chickness is REAL).
Red Dog, my friend Doug is doing just what you're doing, brother. Taking it slow; keeping the doctors away for the most part and letting it flow. I don't KNOW that's your decision but it sure seems so and it makes SO much sense. That takes bravery but it also shows such logical acceptance of what is. I admire you more and more all the time.
Have a great day, everybody and know that I love you more than I can say.
:dog: J O S E P H :inlove:

mother effer is what I meant....
There's that cute young girl again. How come she keeps popping up here?
That's' twice, Jim, my sister took me to see the Beatles twice. LOL.
And, I've seen The Allman Brothers Band exactly 1,362 times (actually, I have no idea - I DO know the record is 12 times in one weekend - 2 shows a night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday). I was 19, I was in heaven, sitting on an equipment case that our beloved Red Dog pushed out for me. I smelled like beer and was unable to breathe a great deal of the time. 😉
Thank you, brothers and sisters, I love you dearly. I'm fixin to do what I did at 17 and I had the day off. GO BACK TO BED til the cake comes (well, almost, somebody has to change the cat litter before company comes a knocking and I guess I should shower and change out of these pajamas).
58 - what a *****. I never imagined this in my entire life. And I'm ME again. That's the miracle.
