snowbound in Jersey. we got 15 inches and my back is hurting for certain. anyone goin to the show in Collingswood NJ?trying to get a preparty goin. theres a place called Connie Macs Irish Pub in Pennsauken NJ on rt 130 north. a five minute drive from venue.

Today is Norfolk CT day in the winter wonderland of country CT with Dickey the Great Southern getting ready to heat up the mountains! I am very excited for the show tonite and can't wait to see my friends from the road...

Holy snow! There is no way I am going to make it out to Infinity...We got over 2 more feet last night on top of all the layers of ice and old slippery stuff. Winter wonderland makes me wonder when this will end!
I edited the video post and uploaded it to youtube, so fingers crossed it works now!
What is so amazing about it is the light fixture was behind the officiator and the three dancing light beams appear as if they shine down through the brass and end up in front of us.
Got up at 5 and saw we had another almost 2 feet of snow so I had a cup of coffee, watched the news for a few minutes and went back to bed. No secondary roads plowed, no railroad, no buses, no schools, no me go outside.

There was a huge rumble of thunder before the snow hit last night. Never heard anything like it. I was lying in bed and it kept going on an on. The Snow God was about to hit us hard and He let us know.
Please God, don't let it snow on Saturday. I know I can get in to the city most days via the railroad (it's running again) but not that big ole tour bus and you can't put all that equipment on a helicopter (can't pay for it either!).
😮 been outside shoveling and I was dressed way to warm... ski jacket, skipants.. multiple tops LOL.. I was done in a manner of minutes ... meaning..snow is to heavy for me, it is a bitach to do.. took me longer to get dressed...that is why Bill has a *big snowblower*.. he's having fun.... it's my day off and a snow day...:jump:... maybe I'll go get my nails done if they made into shop....

Also , yesterday on my way home..I heard Rambling from MTB... man, if I had not seen Dickey Betts and the ABB first.. I wonder if I would have had the thunder bolt like I did for Dickey's music and ABB... I remember the summer of 73' it was ABB/MTB in my 8 track player and lots of shows.... what great , great music...

I am wondering what my Florida Neighbors are thinking about all that snow up north, I am bettsing they like it... for about a day !!! Luckily they will be headed home in a couple days, after raising the temperature in CT/NY/NJ a few degrees.
I envy those of you who get to experience the talents of Duane&Dickey, Pedro,Andy,Mike,Frankie&James.

The baby is doing good. Thank you all for asking! She is quite active. I would have to agree with Rainy that the only good reason to miss a show is due to medical reasons. It was a hard decision not to go after how much fun we had at the last show. You only live once and what better to do with that one life than see DBGS?!?!?!?!
JK glad we ran into you!!! We had a blast that night! The Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte is a great place for a concert (& within my 2 hr limit!!!) Someone should convince the bus to make a pit stop on the way back down south! 🙂

Enjoyed seeing my cousins Dickey (my grandfather George and your father were brothers)and Duane last Saturday in Sarasota. Didn't want to interfer, but would love to actually meet you sometime! Hope to hear the great Dickey Betts and Great Southern again!
