We made it through the night and stil have power!!! Our electric is underground so that helps. Most likely over 100,000 out of power in this immediate area of Ohio. Everything is icing over now and we will most likely be stuck here for days. Our son Jake will have to get to work tomorrow, but Sarah is already staying in town. The main problem is you can't drive a vehicle down the hill of the drive to our bridge as there is no traction. Hoping a friend will be able to bring a load of gravel and put down over the ice maybe tomorrow. We have been through this before. To all in the path of the storm stay warm and best wishes. Many are much worse off than us. Peach.

Hey Tyler, Good luck with that snow and enjoy the snow day!! We have an inch of ice here and more than that is forecast tonight. The wind is picking up and snow is in the forecast for tomorrow. We do still have our power and that is a good thing!! Stay warm and Safe everyone. Dave Stoltz and Kris Jensen used to tell me I always showed up for their best gigs. Maybe I motivated the band?? haha. I also have never been to a bad DB&GS show. 😎 Peach.

Here there everyone! Well the the Blizzard is here! It is just starting here in Milwaukee after a smaller storm came through last night/this morning with about 6 inches of snow. It seems like they are making a big deal out of this even though Wisconsin folks are used to this sort of thing.... I am happy though that I got out of school early and they have closed for tomorrow already! Yeah!!!! Snow Day!!! (I feel like such a kid! ) Hope everyone stays safe out there... I have to say that all of the times I saw DB & GS (since 2003) I have never caught a bad show...They have all been fantastic...Maybe it's all just my opinion though but I think I have great taste in music! 😀 ((((((Prayers & Vibes)))))) to Red :dog: and TennKev and all others who are hurting...

Jane with the blonde hair. Great talking to to you during intermission at the Scottish Rite concert Sunday. What a great place to see a show. Dickey and the band were on top of their game that night and it was pure joy to hear that level of interplay and extensive jamming. The sound, the tone , the crowd, the room, everything was popping. Real nice !!

Heard that the Dickey trashers are out of the woodwork again. I was at the show Saturday night, and IF I attend an off show, I usually keep quiet. Lately I have stayed off the GB, so I don't want to confuse anybody with silence. Dickey was ON, the band was ON, and to me the sound was actually good. I loved the church venue and sitting in pews. I shot some video and am trying to get it posted here so that y'all can judge for yourself. Oh and by the way, I heard the Gregg Allman show over the weekend on XM and he is ON too. So its not a blind loyalty to Dickey that I am speaking from. Dickey played very well, Duane was very on, Andy ripped up the few solos he had when he was not anchoring the band, and Pedro and Dickey were getting into it the way Berry and Dickey used to. Mike, Frankie, and James solid as a rock performance. And to me the most noticeable thing about the sound was I got to hear the backup vocals. Great Job Mixing (Rich I suppose) Also nice to see Carlos in the crew. Definitely well worth the very reasonable prices that Dickey charges for his shows compared to some other bands that play a bit further uptown. Plus you hear songs from the Allman Brothers, not covers of other classic rock supergroups. Nice to see a few GB'ers too 🙂

Mucho cudos to our administrators. Just figured this out (big brain here...LOL). 4UMad2 could be seen at For You Mad Too. There's someone or someones who are there for us and keeping the bad vibes away. Let them be angry for us because they can do something about it. Thank you to our dear caretakers. Like Lana always said, "Know you are loved". We are.

Buenos Dias Brothers and Sisters, Yeah I'm glad to see the new photos from Infinity hall too..thank you! However, This spring I'm going to buy a kite, put it together and go...... fly a kite. Dickey looked so happy in the photo and it struck me that this was something Dickey really enjoyed. maybe that day he just walked away from the confusion and did what made him happy. So simple to wonderful to watch a kite soar through the air. It is now officially on my "Things to do in March list". Holy shit,...that's next month! In a few weeks the magnolias will be blooming in Macon... Safe travels, Kevin B

Hey Nic! Thanks! We will hang in there with the weather...Hope you are able to do the same brother! I could make quite a nice list of the folks that I have met here on Dickey's site that are truley GENUINE....Nic and Rainy would be at the top of that list as a lot of others.... We have a lot to be thankful here and am very thankful to be able to share my passion for Dickey Betts here with you all!
