Just adding to & sincerely moved by the warmth & love this morning for Luke's daughter Amy -- we all want so very much for this hard hard ordeal to end as best as possible -- love to you & yours, brother -- thinking of that girl
GHANDI, like my preacher pointed out to me once when he was using the story of the prodigal son in a sermon, when the father saw it was his long, lost son who returned home to him, he RAN to him and embraced him, calling for his best robe, rings and sandles for his son, and a fattened calf slaughtered for a feast. And so, when we turn back to God, and ask Him to forgive us for straying from Him, He runs to us and embraces us, the same way the father embraced the prodigal son, and all of Heaven rejoices with Him. "I once was lost, but now am found, was blind, but now I see."
Heavenly Father, please surround LUKE, Gina and Amy with the love and comfort only You can provide. Give them peace, as they face uncertainty with all the pending medical procedures. Give them grace so they will know Your love for them. Give them hope for the future, that in spite of what they are faced with right now, tomorrow will come, as certain as the sun rises from the east, and Your love for them in unending. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Just curious, but does anyone have any suggestions of things to send to FrankieB. Are there certain size restrictions, item restrictions etc. etc.. Obviously music would be a good choice, I reckon. Any ideas?
Luke, I am so heartened by your faith that there is a reason for everything and that your faith is unwavering.
Maybe this was the reminder you needed to come back to the good Lord who takes care of all of us in his own way.

I want to say that Jaimoe is a class act. The week before Red Dog passed, Jaimoe was there rubbing his brother's feet. It's almost biblical in its symbolism.
Love to my dear friend Claire today who is having her first birthday without her dear husband, Doug. I hope and pray it is not too difficult.

If any of ya'll know how to re-post something here on the blue site,please do so.I don't know how to do it.But would like to let folks over there know how shes doin.And to thank them for their PRAYERS & LOVE as well.
Thanks again so much!And please continue to pray for her.Shes not outta the woods by any means yet.And has a lotta pain(both mental & physical) and heartache ahead of her to deal with.
3'rd surgery yesterday.Keepin FAITH that GOD will continue healing.The kid has a long painful haul ahead of her.But as of right now shes able to move her fingers a little.Which is GREAT.There is so much bone loss,along with muscle & tissue removal.That the movement and use is gonna be limited greatly.But i beleive in miracles,and am trusting GOD!My daughter is alive,has no brain damage and her face was not marked one bit.SO,SO much to be thankful for.
A call to say your child has been in a bad accident is the nightmare of every parent.And i PRAY that not one of ya'll ever have that call.And thank ya'll,ONE & ALL,for your prayers & love that you've sent her way.And i trust this hurdle in our lives has a purpose.And that we will listen & heed to GOD's purpose for our lives by this happening.I've known from a long time ago how much GOD loved me.And i've seen him protect and provide time and time again.On the same note i know i've strayed from his side.And have not listened when i felt him trying to have heart to heart talks with me.
I know in this crazy,fast paced,high tech,i know it all mind set society we live in.That GOD & his word have been dismissed by many,as pure fairy tale and stories made up by man.But i know beyond a shadow of a doubt.That without a spiritual connection to our creator,we are a lost and wandering soul.
There has been person after person,& angels in human form i'm sure,set directly in our paths thru this ordeal with our daughter.And my heart has been humbled,broken & warmed & comforted at the same time.
I could ramble on for a long shot on this note.So i'll leave with saying once again,,THANK YOU SO MUCH for your prayers and love.And number one THANKS & GLORY to my FATHER in HEAVEN for his LOVE & MERCY.

True Gravity on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Jamming with Doc and the brass section
The band, with Dickey and Warren, did a great version of Kind of Bird on the Tonight show with Johnny Carson. Doc Severensen played on it also. Dickey had absolutely no trouble with this tune. Johnny Carson was a big Allmans fan, and this performance blew him away. It's still on youtube, I think.
I am trying to contact Dickey about Topper Price. They played togther long while ago and I am wanting information concerning him. I know he died in 2007 but I am doing a project on him and would like some incite.
