Get some opinions from docs you know and trust...then make the best decision you can, based on the facts. Then, there are no bad decisions. Only doing whats best for you. Good luck! I will be thinking about you.

How many people from here are going on that Rock Legends Cruise in December that Dickey will be playing on? I am seriously considering going and wondered if an GB people were?
I have placed a call to the James Cancer Hospital at the Ohio State University in Columbus. I am awaiting a return call from the Dr there who treats me for the carcinoid cancer. I hope she can give me some advice on what to do in this situation. I suspect a visit there may be in order. I am kicking the can down the road to cover all my options. They are a top notch facility. GO BUCKEYES!!! Peach.

My Dr appointment was cancelled yesterday as the Dr was on-call for surgery. I am rescheduled for Wednesday. I spoke to my first Dr and the colostomy will be required. I'm not sure when but I suspect in a couple of weeks.

My brother and his wife took a cruise to Alaska. They said this time of year is warm-ish and phenomenally beautiful.

So yesterday was Ma & Pa's 50th anniversary. Way to go mom and dad. Love you both.
To make the story even better, instead of having the normal anniversary party, they have decided to take the whole family on a cruise to Alaska.
So, tomorrow......................Alaska here I come. First time on a cruise and first time to Alaska. Hope it isn't too :cold: or rainy.

Sorry to hear tis news. All along, your doctors have done a good job...I would expect that they will continue to do so.
Your personal strength, and positive attitude has been, and will continue to be, as important as anything the doctors do. Keep on keepin' on!
