One of my favorite all time bands, the Jayhawks....first new album with the "real" Jayhawks in 13 years, "Mockingbird Time." Great cd but gets better the more familiar you become with it.

Safe travels and Goodtimes to all going to the JFD. Thanks to Brent and all involved for keeping this going. Pam & I wanted to attend but this year the Danny Toler gig took priority. I do hope to attend the JFD next year.
I hope you & Anjas are doing better Rajo. Good luck with the Dr visit!!!
I had a not so good dental visit yesterday. Quite a bit of work coming soon. I have usually not had dental problems. Must be due to the illness and maybe my immune system is low.
I have been listening to Dickey/Danny music lately. Goodtimes!!! 😎
I hope you all are doing well. Thanks for the Friendship!!!! Peach.

fitting to the music in my room
should I touch or let her sleep alone
with angels in her dreams
kinda dreaming on my own
Kimberly, you GOTTA share those stories.
I had a similar get up with the black skirt, vest and hat with white plastic fringe but I only wore it to play cowboys and Indians (dolls were NOT my thing - little plastic horses had their own world in my childhood bedroom). I was purely a bluejean (with knee pads, natch) and boot girl - and later on got a real velvet helmut for Christmas. It didn't do much for Christopher Reeves but I don't feel safe without it anymore.
Anyway, fess (Parker) up, girl!
hey,sweet family
sorry to tell anjas not so well. to much work and stuff...I have my next diabetic advisement on Tuesday.things looking good so far.
Hey Now ! We got a new Fillmore here in Silver Spring, MD, Dickey you need to stop on by plug in and visit awhile
Thinking again, how great it must have been for the fortunate child actor to ride that horse through the water, sand and brush......"Pegasus" would have made a nice sound track!
My favorite quote from "The Black Stallion" is, "I want to be your friend".
Put the heels to him and hang on.
Love Ya'll.
No, Kimberly, I think the time for those stories is NOW!!! :blah:
See this is where I truly miss Miss Pam as we used to ride at the rodeos...our little cowboy outfits equipped with guns and short fringe skirts and all...lol...yes I ran with the Sheriff and it was up to Miss Pam and I to arrest such individuals like those bad boy cowboys..I better save those stories until we are in the grave...it is just that it is Halloween time and I have had some fond memories over the years of dressing up and having fun with my friends!
Rainy, they call me MR. ED 🙂
 Lizzie 🙂
I have never had a professional lesson in riding.. I had OLD schooling from my Dad.. my Grandfather and Dad were just ordinary horse people.. My grandfather should have been some kind of a vet.. many people here on L.I. would come to him with horse health problems... anyway, I grew up with horses and rode daily.. my lesson was ..when I was about 6 , my father put me on Red Lady a beautiful horse she threw me right off and I fell right on my butt.. I started to cry and my Dad said " OH No".. picked me up and put me right back on.. I never had a fear of a horse after that.. we would ride together .. it was so fun and I miss those simple days .. We had 3, Red Lady, Cyndie, and my horse Stardust... sweet memories..
