That is awesome Nic, that is true community spirit. Very rare these days in the world we live in. I think small-town values are the backbone of America, looking out for each other, taking care of the next generation, promoting education, installing values of working hard and being honest. And high school football still brings a town together, regardless of race or religion. Is it Friday night yet? 🙂

Hey Wayne. In 1999 our local community raised $3,000,000 and we built a new high school football stadium at no cost to the school district. Two years ago we raised $750,000 and had artificial turf installed. When these kids get a college education and such as Brandon go on to the NFL it all pays off. Two years ago we had 5 or 6 kids in Division one colleges on a full football scholarship. One is going to Columbia University in NYC. That is the reward when you can help a student get a good quality education who would not have been given the chance. That is the case with Brandon. He is such a fine young man and is very deserving of this opportunity!!! Run Brandon Run!!!!! Peach.

The Fridge seems to be doing well, he is now able to make his own decisions again about his life and business as for a few years his brother was doing it for him per the courts. Last time I saw him around town he was still in a wheelchair but from what I have read and heard he is getting back to a more normal life.
