Well, while we are talking sports a bit I would like to point out that the UNLV Runnin Rebels took out No 1 North Carolina on Saturday night in college basketball. I suspect there are few UNLV fans on this site and probably more than a few UNC fans, but I'll take this one! Big win for a program that has a long and checkered history. UNLV has a real good team this year, and moved into the 18th ranking today.

Nic, I pull for OSU because of you, and I like Urban Meyer but I think he is done with coaching. I don't think his heart is really going to be into it. Hope for your sake I am wrong, but he must be taking the OSU job for the money.

Wayne, I graduated from tiny little Wofford College which, as you probably recall, almost beat the tater weenies this past season. Both my parents graduated from USC and I have in my dining room a portrait of Isaac Lenoire, my great great great grandfather who was in the first graduating class at USC. I'm glad you have a good sense of humor because you tater weenies are definitely going to need it to cope with the future. Just laugh it off, ok? 3 in a row and counting! GOOOO GAMECOCKS!!!!

I congratulate the Michigan fans on their victory over The Ohio State Buckeyes. I hear they have announced Urban Meyer will be our new head coach. He is an Ohio Boy so that should fit. I hope Luke Fickel stays on as he was a Great player and good defensive coach for the Buckeyes. He has an offer on the table from Akron as that is where he coached before coming to the Buckeyes to coach. Go BUCKEYES!!!!!
I am going to try a little deer hunting this afternoon. We are getting major rain here and I think access to my spot is blocked by water. Hoping for the best.
After much thought and discussion it seems we will still attempt to make it to Wanee this coming year. Our son Jake is pumped about going and really wants to go. Looking forward to going. 😎 It really depends on what they tell me at The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University. Hoping for good news there also. I have 2 days of testing and Dr visits scheduled next week.

Oh yeah, Wayne, after the tater weenies get throttled by VA Tech, let's wait and see whether they get invited to the Humiliation Bowl in Boise, Idaho again. That sounds like a great place to visit in December to me.
Wayne, PHLEGMson did play terribly because they were getting solidly whipped in every phase of the game - thorough domination. You're probably going to have to wait until Connor Shaw graduates before you have a chance to come within 2 touchdowns of us. You play a cupcake schedule in a marshmellow conference, so when you face an SEC defense your players cower trembling into the fetal position sucking their thumbs crying "MOMMY! MOMMY!!!" all game long. That's an awful lot to have to overcome, donchya think?

We vacationed in Ireland for a while, got back last week. We rented a car and drove all over the place. We ended up in a fancy hotel called he Adare Manor, for a wedding.
It was a wonderful trip, and we had a blast. There was limited internet access, and for the most part I didn't sign in to check anything.
Driving on the left side of the road was different, to say the least! Ireland has lots of narrow, winding roads, but I am proud to say I lived to tell the tale!
Back to the routine, and back to work....with many great memories.

Hey Pinto, yes, will have to wait until next year. You won this year. Clemson played terrible, they peaked mid-season, not looking good for the ACC title game. But wait, they are still playing and the chickens did not make it to the SEC title game! 🙂
New realtor coming at 10 and then off to, SURPRISE, more doctor visits. Running out of co-pay cash but finding more medical receptionists willing to "send you a bill" with a wink. Thank God for those who give me a break every day.

Anybody see a conflict of interest - the woman realtor who was going to sell my apartment took in the drug addict I threw out. She is no longer representing me.
I guess having him around (for free) is worth more to her than the commission she would have gotten from selling this place. Hmmmm, I smell something rotten in this. The adopted kids she had sleeping in that room are now in "special schools" for unruly kids. She never really wanted the kids anyway, especially after her husband left her.
I smell a rat; no, I smell two rats. I have a new realtor. She can have him.
She has no idea what she's in for.

And isn't this the THIRD year in a row and it hasn't even been close either time? And what was all that junk you were talking about? Yes, the taters assumed the position and the Gamecocks administered the punishment.....AGAIN. Thanks for making this even sweeter and good luck in the A She She toonamint.... good luck coming within 3 touchdowns of VA Tech, that is..... I doubt if you will.
