This holiday season is a really off one for me - being alone (and loving it) but sitting here watching the Yule Log with my tree (I'm getting one, even if it's a shrub) on Christmas Eve and not having the benefit of a little liquid to cheer me up or someone to cuddle up with is going to be tough. I'll probably hit the hay early and remember to keep Christ in Christmas. It's not all about ME!
Xmas morning will be tough too. Probably go to church if I can get a ride.
Before all that, I have to endure my 59th (OMG) birthday.
It will all be "interesting". I'm just looking forward to next year and knowing the holidays will be better. For now, it's just a day at a time.

Wayne, I know it might seem to make you feel better to say that junk, but the reality is that the ACC Champion is ranked 15th in the country. Without even looking at the rankings I know that at least 4 SEC teams are not only ranked ahead of your lowly outfit, but they're IN THE TOP 10!!! Your little tater weenies have gotten solidly whipped 3 years in a row in football, eliminated by us from the CWS and had to watch us win 2 consecutive NCAA Championships in baseball, and now we've whipped you twice in a row on the hardwood. So, you can talk all the junk you want, but you tater weenie fans ain't feeling too good about yourselves even though you got an automatic bowl bid for winning a weak conference. Do you have anything else to say?

Never, but it is fun with the rivalry! I actually go to football, basketball and baseball games of both teams. Columbia is a shorter ride from Aiken for a game! And USC does have a great baseball team, I will give them that!
You are right Rainy, RedDog should be in the RRHoF. The greatest and most well-known Roadie of all time. And as you know, never has been a nicer guy than RedDog.
Sorry Jim, Clemson is the SC school, to me and many other Clemson fans. And to you and your fellow chicken fans, you can say what you want about the chicken coop being being more than a poop shed. Fans on both sides is half the fun man! 🙂

Pinto my man, the Clemson Tigers (the official university of South Carolina) will be in the Orange Bowl, a BCS bowl, and the other USC (the real one is in California) will be at the lowly Capital One bowl, man, way down the pecking order when it comes to bowl games! As Tigers fans say, at least we are not Carolina! 🙂
Speaking of sports I watched on TV last night the Alabama Crimson Tide mens basketball team take whippin from the University Of Dayton Flyers!!!!! Alabama's coach is a former Flyer player. Go FLYERS!!!!!!
