We just arrived home. The surgeon is an elderly Dr with lots of experience. Kind of like the guru there for this type of problem. I had 3 Drs and they indicated there is some risk involved. They are not sure about the procedure yet, but I go back on 28 Dec for testing and to schedule surgery. The surgery shoud be around 15 January or so. The Dr would like to do it sooner but that is not possible. The surgeon is having a surgery himself soon and will need time to heal prior to doing mine.
He will study the scans and then decide on what procedure he will do. He is confident he can help me. He stated he would not operate if he did not think he could help me out. I may lose a few extra parts he said depending on what they find. I am fortunate to have him taking my case. He actually said it was a privledge to operate on me after all I have been through. I am once again Blessed by God to have this Dr come into my life.
Thanks to all of you for the support and Love you have sent to us. I am humbled by your Generosity and Kindness. I am a very fortunate person to share this home on the internet with you all. May we all celebrate the Grace of God together this Holiday Season. Peach.

I really appreciate all the support everyone has given to both Frankie and I. He should be home around the middle of January. They still aren't sure on the exact date they will be leaving Afghanistan. I can't wait for him to come home, this year has been a long and trying one. So thanks again everyone.

You're right Walter, I know that responding to these posts, just encourages more. I also realize that it is not kind to be unkind to the unkind. They have enough problems sorting out all the noise in their head.
I the spirit of the holidays, it'd be nice not to have this negativity going on here amongst this family.
Back to our every day life here, I think I might be able to do a little Christmas this year. I didn't think I was going to be able to manage even a small tree, but the pre-Christmas fairies have been very, very good to me (and you know who you are 😉 ).
