😆 LMAO bluedaddio. Don't be hoggish w/ all the womens bluedaddio. I remember RedDog talkin' about Duane and how he was like the pied piper. I reckon when we all get to Macon, ol' bluedaddio will have all the womens in line and following him around.
I think I remember Nic mentioning a Best Western as well in Macon. Where are you thinking Brother Nic? Anywhere is cool w/ me.........just hoping as many as possible will be at the same motel. I'm sure it'll all work out fine.
Hey DreamLady..........where ya planning on moving to in the south? Shucks, I've always wanted to go up and visit you and the Rainygirl in NYC, so if you move down south, I'll come visit. Are them there left handed, funny cigs gonna be allowed in the house? I gots to know what the house rules are.

The DDT (remember when we banned that stuff) Benefit still on. Get your tickets now. I think everyone would be satisfied with the VIP tables @ $40.00 per person. Each table accomodates 4 people. Buy tickets for the event as soon as you can.
Holiday Inn Express Rooms -$89.00 per night. Two double beds.
Marriott - $109.00 per night. Two double beds.
A contact in Macon will be trying to negotiate some reduced rates with the Marriott, so don't pull trigger on getting a room yet until we see if the Marriott will give us a better rate. I have stayed there a couple of times and it is very nice and close to the venue. Passed the Holiday Inn Express and it looks nice too. Never stayed there, however it is a good distance from the venue.
There are 24 people signed up to go on the Facebook event. Many of them all of us know...:)
Looking forward to the event and a tour of the Macon things that will be a first time for some. Always a pleasure to show what I know and hope some of the more seasoned travellers around Macon will be available to show us some sites. Most of the sites can be seen in a couple of hours...Rose Hill, The H, the first album cover shot and those type of things. The Big House Museum will take some time (2-3 hours minumum).
They Big House Museum has a great gift shop, and bring your cameras...;)
I'm probably gonna pull into Macon on the 9th and will be hanging around jiving with the ladies...:)

Hey, just think, when I even do move, they'll be some air mattress or sleeping bag space for visitors, not to mention a couch and a futon. You're going to have to be a cat fan and smoke outside (that includes me!).

I am feeling much better this morning. The Dr said things have improved much since yesterday. I have been resting better. It was a beautiful Blue Sky morning here this morning as I have an excellent view of the OSU campus out my window. Snow will be arriving here within a few hours.

I'll be in Macon this afternoon and will check with the locals to wee what they suggest. I have too often found out the hotel rates there aren't that different for a good one to a not so good one...;)
And we all want to stay at the same hotel !!!

It would definitely be cool if as many as possible were staying at the same motel. Hope nobody pulls a Keith Moon and drives their car into the swimming pool.
I believe I've got my gal convinced to go to Macon and celebrate her birthday with all of you crazy cats.

Just replied to the mail. I've had non-stop Dr and nurse visits this morning. I am feeling much better!!!!! Hoping to go home on Monday. It is snowing here today so I told Pam not to do the 2 hour drive each way again. She and Sarah are having fun getting ready for Avery Jo to arrive on Tuesday. Jo is my middle name so they are giving her grandpa's middle name. I never knew why my mother spelled it like that but it worked out some 59 years later!!! haha. God works in many ways. He is giving me quite a lot of attention lately. I am Blessed. You all are just one of those Blessings. I hope you all have a Safe & Goodtime weekend. Peach.
