Welcome home Nic.. good to see you are recovering and making plans to DDT show in Macon.. It sounds like you all will have a great time.. and some of the best music..
Have fun and think of us who are not attending .. we will be there in spirit..
:birthday: wishes and a Blue Sky day to Dave.. BDOB
:dog:  :inlove:
Happy Birthday BigDaveOnBass!!! Thanks for all the Goodtimes and all the Good things you do Brother!!! May you have a Blue Sky day and may your Soulshine!!!! Peach.
The jaw and the lips too..........I don't doubt it ya smooth operator. Let's hope your wife comes and can halfway keep you in line. I'm seriously doubting that she has that ability though.
Nic, you are that guy to me who DDT is to you. The goodness of the man you are radiates from the words you write. You are a magnet and to everyone here this weekend is as much for you as Dan Toler. Certainly no disrespect for Dan Toler, but I am primarily going for the opportunity to honor you.
There is no place like Macon for the ABB connection. I also hope Big Dave comes as he helped Danny & Band tear down their gear after the 2010 GABBA gig. That was before we knew why DDT was struggling to walk.
There is no person I have every met on the road that spreads around more Love and Kindness that Danny. You all will feel the Love the man brings to the gig. We need to keep supporting these gigs to help our Brother out.
I figured the Benefit in Sarasota was the Gig of a Lifetime. It was for me!!! This will be a nice follow-up to that. Hopefully there will be an open Jam at the Big House that weekend. The Big House is a must stop for any ABB fan. Give yourselves as much time as you can because there is so much to take in.
Are you out there Kimberly?????? 😎 Peach
Das da FACK, Jim Jack!!! We got the whole center of the second row!!!
Tennkev...If you bring a girl, I will kiss her on the jaw and maybe on the lips before the weekend is over :boomerang:
Talked to BDOB yesterday on the way back on forth from Macon....;) Let me tell ya' he has a full palte of life and I'm not sure how he does it all between his family, church, motorcycle club stuff and ABB stuff. He will be there if he is able. I too wish he could come. No better road dawg in the world than him....:) My wife has expressed interest in coming, so I might have to act like I have some sense. She has been to a few things with me and she tells me that I go NUTS when I am with my ABB friends. And her point is well taken, however I don't make apologies to her...:)
Me and the sheep...lol.. That was great time. And I set myself up for that and i know it. There is a pci of me and Dave and the sheep and i said to him "I want the white one" and we just laughed and laughed.
We should all have so much fun !!!
Hey bluedad, is your partner in crime BDOB gonna make it? Hope so, always wanted to drink a beer w/ him too.
I think one of the funniest pictures I've ever seen posted was of Brother bluedad w/ a blow up sheep 😆 ...........I was like, I gotta party with that dude.
Heck yeah...................we're gonna have a good ol' time. :guitar:
I don't believe that for a second Brother bluedad. You're as cool as they come, and no doubt have the ladies eatin' outta the palm of your hand. No hittin' on my gal though :ninja: .
I'm with ya on the beer and the music thing. Never been to Macon, so given the fact that I tend to knock a few back, gettin' a cab shouldn't be a problem.......should it?
No politics...promise !!
For heavens sake, the last thing I hope we talk about is politics. We probably all have tons of stuff in common to talk about. Politics is nothing but the great divider. Nobody ever persuades anybody else and the people with the power don't give a damn what any of us think anyway.
So, John, I will be honored to meet you and Wayne from Aiken, Mr King, from Anderson, TennKev from the great state of Virginia, Rick and Skyponydogboy from Alabama, hopefully even Capn and the rest of the Florida gang, and of course, Nic and Pam from Piqua and it's going to be an amazing weekend.
Welcome home Nic !!
Glad to see you are doing better. I didn't see Judi yesterday, however the GABBA Board sends you their love...:)
Yeah, I always have the ladies eating out of my hand. All ZERO of them...lol
Agree with keeping correspondence private.
I went to the event site and told some people there would be at least a half dozen more coming to DDT event. Didn't mention any names, however I'm sure most of ya'll have seen them posting here or on The Allman Brothers site. I think most of them will be staying at the Marriott. That seems to be the hotel of choice since the Crowne Plaza closed down.
I kind of like the Marriott becasue it is in close proximity to the venue and makes driving a little better. I like a little beer with my music..!!!
Wascally Wepublicans will get a chance to meet a flaming liberal (Me)...;)
I don't expect anything but creating some nice memories for all of us....:)
:clapping: :fanfare: Right on Brother Nic. Good ol' home sweet home. Let's us know when that grandyoungin' jumps into this crazy world. Continued get well wishes.
Welcome back home, Nic! Say "Hi!" to your new grandaughter for me tomorrow! I don't have a grandaughter yet but bet it's gonna be fun....expensive, too!
There is no place like home!!!!! Thanks you all!!! 😎 Peach
It's a beautiful Blue Sky day here in Iowa. 🙂
Nic - hope you and Pam have a wonderful time. You deserve it!
Hey, Nic! Can't wait to meet you! We wascally wepublicans need to stick together! I was told by another guestbook friend that I would be the "only Lexington County Republican" in attendance. I wasn't planning to talk about politics but guess my trunk would give me away. All us Republicans look alike, ya know?
Nic, you are a heck of a true man!I admire that.
Your Macon trip, I hope, will reflect a vibe here that a few maintain and hold fast to.
Idiots and the white noise from one in particular aside, I hold onto the true vibe of a true Brother, Red Dog. He approves without any question.
Look forward to meeting you and shaking your hand, Sir.
Thank so much to all of you for helping us out with the tix and room. We will most likely arrive On Thursday and leave on Sunday. We do usually fly but we would like to make a road trip out of this and take in the beautiful scenery between Ohio and Georgia. Flying is much more difficult since I got the colostomy. I get treated like a terrorist at the screening points including strip searched and swiped for gun powder residue. Hell of way to treat a DoD retiree. The only thing they can't do is anal search since I no longer have one!! haha.
Going home today and a new grandbaby arriving tomorrow. We do have to drive back here 2 hours each way on Wednesday to see the surgeon but that is OK . Life is good!!!! Praise the Lord!!! Peach.
