Hey, Kitty! Good to hear from you and I sure wish you were here more! So....you could tell I'm excited about those shows, eh? Wonder how? To me the MTB are a bunch of great musicians playing a bunch of songs I have loved my whole adult life. They aren't the original MTB but is that their fault? Yeah, Doug Gray ain't no Placido Domingo anymore, but so what? He's doing what he loves to do and keeping the music and the tradition alive for the fans so I appreciate it. Being a good South Carolinian, when they play Blue Ridge Mountain Skies or any of those good old songs it makes me recall the special pride they made me feel that some good ol' South Carolina boys had hit a fat lick and made it to the big time but never forgot their roots.

Sister Rainy - sounds like so far your vacation is wonderful. So happy for you! Walter - you've got some nice free shows coming. I've always loved MTB and wish I could see Randall Bramblett. Love everything I've ever heard from his band via live shows.

Hey Rainy! Have a great time on vacation. Sounds like a beautiful place...I'd like to go there sometime. Looking forward to our NY/LI crew getting together in a few weeks. When I last saw Andy Aledort, he told me Dickey was enjoying playing the new Gibson SG, and it has set Dickey's playing on fire! That's something I can't wait to hear. Mitch

Looks like a great crop of blueberries down in Bama. I have babied them all year..mulch, mulch, mulch!! Lots of blooms and I actually had some bees working too. Of course, the bumblebees were there, about 50/50. Should have a bumper crop of all natural organic berries. ummmmmmmmmmmm!!!

😮 Yikessssss, my bad Mr. King. I forgot to mention that it was purely for medicinal purposes. I like to use it as my antidepressant. I tend to get a lot happier after a couple of swiggs. Works pretty good for my aching shoulder and screwed up lower back problem too. At least for a couple of hours anyway. Truly a magical elixir, as long as it is used medicinally :yep: .

😆 I like to call it Miss Mamie and Miss Emily's recipe, since I'm fairly close to Walton's Mtn. Papa would be so proud of his girls for continuing the distillation of "the recipe". Strictly used for medicinal purposes, of course :a-ok: .
