Thought I'd share this video that a cat named Rubin put up on the blue site. If you didn't catch it over there, check it out. Very, very touching video about what music does. Thanks Rubin.

Thanks for the tip, Ed! The Sheepdogs have a great sound and I will listen to more. Very real and not watered-down pop. one of the great things here in Bettsville is how we all share our different music. Here's one for you all.....Here Come the Mummies!

Hey has any of you Dickey Betts fans heard of the Sheepdog? Well check this video out. They sound just like Dickey and if you listen near the end they even mention his name. These guys are quite cool. They will be at the Mule's Mountain Jam.

God Bless our great nation. May we continue to follow our Constitution and always hold our individual freedoms dear. God bless our troops and those who gave all. Count your blessings and be thankful. He is risen.
Sorry to hear about your Friend Brent. I am back in Piqua for Easter Sunday and then back to Lake Erie. We hope to make it to Macon so hope things work out. 😎 Take care you all and share the Goodtimes!!! Life is good and it is a good day to be alive!!! Peach.
Lizzie, sounds like you're doing great and I am very happy to hear it! See you in Macon!
Wanted to wish everybody a blessed Easter and happy Passover and just to check in.
Me too, Mitch! So looking forward to the gathering of the Long Island Crew in a couple of weeks. Sounds like Rainy is keeping herself pleasantly busy in paradise in the meantime.
All is well here. Been feeling pretty good; lost all that weight that was weighing my back down and causing me a lot of pain and it's pretty terrific being able to fit into all those clothes I held onto just in case I slimmed down again.
Looks like I'll be able to visit our hometown in October for GABBAFEST due to the good graces and generosity of a very good local friend of mine. It's a ways off, but it's terrific to have so many things to look forward to and lots of sweet hugs awaiting me.
I sure am blessed to have all of you in my life and a day doesn't go by that I don't thank the good Lord for your love.
There'll be no senoritas waiting there for me -
No Rosie's Cantina, no guitar.
I'll probly wind up with a bullet in my back
Somewhere under the Spanish stars.
Luke, I really missed seeing you at the DDT benefit and I'm definitely planning to make it back for GABBA, especially to support my brothers, bluedad and BDOB. I absolutely loved the Cox Capital Theater, the best place I have ever been to sit back and see a great concert and be free to go around and mingle during the show. I'm sure hoping some of the gang will return to Macon, too. Macon is a town that is a rare link back to a forgotten time. Antibellum homes line the streets and spirits abound. They seem to whisper in the wind. I'm a native born Charlestonian and I've never seen another town that so typifies the old South than Macon - an easygoing charm and grace exudes from its bricks and mortor and you can't help but slow your clock down and just relax and savor every moment of being there.
I know its down the highway a bit.But i'm still gonna throw a bone out here.

JK - always love pics of the Tucker boys and that pick of Elvin Bishop, Dickey & Toy is one of my all time favorites. 😎
Lost a good friend and musician in the Birmingham area. Bassist Jimmy Whitt passed away. He had been ill for some time. RIP Jimmy. I will miss you my friend.
Kitty....When there's no place left to go there's Mexico!
Hey Walter, Nic, Brent, Stephen et al.
Walter - yeah I could tell you're excited, but you should be. I would be too. None of us is what we were 35 years ago, so enjoy the music and relax. I've always loved MTB. Lately I've been playing a Toy solo cd called Son of the South. It's fantastic.
Getting geared up for Wanee. Can't wait!
